I dont know if black people at large need just Boosie but fathers in general. I remember telling one of my soldiers that a father needs to provide for his family and that is his main job, he acted like I told him the meaning of life. Come to find out, he not only never had a father but he never had a male figure in his life before Basic Training and the drill sergeants. I couldn't believe it but I took up giving him any advice on things I had been through in life. 10 years out I still talk to him atleast once a year. He has a wife and two kids now as of December 26th.
His son is comfortable in his home environment. I understand B respecting his son and not wanting to push him away. You can't compare families, everybody's parenting techniques is different , and produce different results. We can't control what our young adult children do. All we can do is try to guide them in the right direction. 😊😊
