That very large monohull is a gaff rigged schooner . You can tell by the double booms on the masts. Way too much work for us plebs ..lol Thanks for the yard tour and video.
The mast most definitely does not step onto the keel that’s even counter intuitive. Imagine the keel bolts trying to push against the mast as well. The mast is normally well forward of the keel. This box is a bilge sump.
This was a bit of fun to watch. Needless to say Gracious 60ft sunreef wont be getting chartered by me for the $$$$$ they advertise charter at and Schooner Ruth is way younger than expected- some fab vids online of her sailing. Make this a regular vid whenever u r hauled out.
great vid per usual, thanks gor posting - im in the process of trying to find a 2005 -10 ish cat from a boatyard - one whereby the owner has had enough where there any in this boatyard that you noticed? do you have the contact info to the boatyard to see if any are available thanks in advance Dan most appreciated!!! Cliff
You don't need to guess the age of the boat. There is a serial number that is engraved into the hull on the transom. The last two digits of which is the year of manfacture.
I love the boat with the platform for the dogs. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

Glad you enjoyed!
16:21 It was so funny to be looking at the swing keel is sitting on the blocks just behind Jay in the background.
Hahaha 😆
Love these style vids! Gotta go dive with you so I'll finish watching when I get back! 🤙🤙

FUN VIDEO, bro. Say hi to Jay for me.
Will do! Thanks buddy!
I really enjoy these boatyard videos.
Is the Helicat Red still there?
Yes it is!
Fun video
Thank you!
I would not have enough trust in the structural integrity of those supports to go walking under those boats.

It's more fun to guess. 😀
It is Alubat Ovni 395 maybe...french boat...not german.
That box is not for the mast step.
Guessing the location of this boatyard is withheld for security reasons.
Nope!
Clarkes Court Boatyard, Grenada
@@Adventureman_Dan Is that in Puerto Rico Puerto Del Rey?
You guys need to fact check before you do a video, the both of you are wrong on so many things about boats.
Guess you missed the purpose of this video. Fact checking is not part of the program 😒 🙄 😕
