I really hope this production returns soon. As a 2nd generation NY born Puerto Rican this play was very eye opening and deeply thought provoking. The actors were amazing and the storyline was not what I was expecting. I want all my friends to be able to experience what I experienced last night
This production was excellent though I do feel honestly that perhaps the powers that be dropped the ball on this play. With all the wonderful pandemonium surrounding bad bunny and dtmf , it seems to be a moment where folks are talking about PR's cultural identity and sad situation more than ever which is great and deserved , needed, and long overdue it seems the theater didn't put the love into it as much as it should to really be a the watershed moment in puerto rican culture/history that it should have been. It deserved to be in that convo as DTMF is doing for Nuestra gente right now. It's ashame. This play would probably be continuing its life had it had been in more capable hands. It missed the moment because PRTT dropped the ball by neglecting it.

Love the PRTT theatre and the work that Pregones/PRTT does!
Many kudos to this venerable institution! Pa’lante👏🏽👏🏽
So grateful to be part of this company. Grateful for the opportunity. Excited to be part of their upcoming production of Parrots At The Pagoda.
Saw this in previews in December and it was incredible.
