  • Mini and MG Car Clubs (Tasmania) Hill Climb and Sprints day at Baskerville 16 June 2022. As per title, this was my first timed event in my Ford Focus RS Mk3. This is the 'limited' specification car which includes a Quaiffe ATB front LSD to complement the standard active torque vectoring rear differential. Car has usual bolt ons, Cobb intercooler and intake, XForce Exhaust system, Pedder XA coilovers and a flash tune running just over 240awkw. Also has 6 piston Brembo conversion front brakes which just fit inside the standard wheels, though a 15mm spacer is required for caliper clearance. Car has been set up to run Hoosier R semi slicks on the factory 'limited' forged wheels. Due to the nature of the event I ran on the regular RS wheels shod with 5 year old Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's (as delivered on the car when new). Car has drivers and passenger side 6 point harnesses, AGI half cage and fire extinguisher. Video overlay was achieved in real time using VBox video HD2. Thank you for watching.

What do you use to have all the informations on your video (speed, rpm, brake...)?

Hi. VBOX Video HD2 with a CAN connection to the stock ECU. The overlay is rendered in real time. I can only find a brake switch PID. On some of my other cars you can display the actual brake pressure rather than just on/off.

@@fordsportclubsuisse1092 In Australia they are AUS$4500. I swap it between cars. To me this makes it better value. The logging analysis suite is really good for 'driver tuning ' as well as testing the effectiveness of chassis setup changes.
