    Omg i just joined another choir and my voice keeps cracking when I get to E F area and the conductor explained that’s a special area in which everyone’s voice (sopranos) crack (some Italian word I can’t remember!), so this is exactly what I need right now. I will be going to the high notes video for sure

      Yep, it happens to me as well. I keep practicing the techniques in Victoria's passaggio exercises and find it's getting a little less cracky over time.

    Yes I’ve been dissecting my voice lately and something that I’ve realized is the back of my throat was so closed it was creating this really gritty sound. So I’ve been implementing a yawn into my voice and not only has it helped me go into my head voice more easily but it’s smoothen out my voice a lot.

    Reviewing this video. I just had another breakthrough for high notes and not flipping into treble. I was thinking "slide". Then I saw "glide" being used and thought about how the mind perceives "slinding; usually its downward. And to think about sliding upward is to think of exertion. But "gliding" is perceived as like "smooth sailing". This one change in visualization cues helped me to finally breakthrough into beautiful higher notes without flipping into treble or adding too much resonance to compensate.

    For vowel modification, what I understand to be "taller" vowels, is actually the short version of the vowels. Ah= ă /AY= ĕ/EE= ì/OOH= ə. OH doesn't need any modification. Visualizing the phonetic form of the short vowels helped me.

    Hi Victoria! I’ve been following you for years and have been wanting to purchase your Exercise Program for a while now, but since I’m still not sure whether I’m an alto/mezzo soprano/soprano, I haven’t yet purchased it. Would you recommend me to purchase one of the combined voice type packs, and if so, which combination would be best? Or should I see if I can find out my voice type? I still see myself as a beginner, hence why I feel like my current range isn’t completely set just yet. Thank you in advance!! 😃🙏🏼

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hello! In answer to your question, each program covers 2 1/2 octaves in range. If singers are not sure of their voice type, I recommend ordering alto/mezzo-soprano for women and bass/baritone for men, especially for beginners. That is for lower to medium voice types, so unless you consider your voice to be high, this should work. If not, you have 30 days to switch to the higher voice category. Some singers do order 2 programs if they have a large range.

    I learned that you're supposed to make a small space in the back of the throat / narrow the pharynx, or so, but this seems the opposite, or did i missunderstand something? I interpreted small space as make it more narrow but i find myself contracting.

    You might get more views if you post full videos on how to get better with warm-ups and guidance in between longer videos means you hold viewers longer and then that’s what’s most important two minutes and 40 seconds isn’t enough time for RUclips to advertise what they want

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  5 месяцев назад +3

      I think you are missing most of my channel. Of course, 2 minutes and 40 seconds is short and that is on purpose. I have lots of videos that are 10-19 minutes long. Haven’t you seen them? I always refer to my longer videos in these shorter ones. Plus, a lot of people like short reminders.
