"Easy Mode" in Returnal??? Strategy for beating the 5th Biome and beyond!

- After struggling for days to get through the 5th biome, I developed a very effective strategy to make getting through the 5th biome a lot easier! It's as close as you can get to turning on an "easy mode" in the game.
Definitely works, but you forgot to mention you also need to get really badass at not getting hit. I just started playing again and I am suddenly much better, I think it’s good to go straight to the biome asap and get used to the enemies and then once I have that down I go for the win. It sucks to spend an hour getting ready for a biome and then just get destroyed as soon as you run into something new.
Brah just what I need. You make it look easy. Didn't know about the shield which is super rare. Will keep a look out for those artifacts indeed very hard to get them. Thanks for the tip. Well done!👍💪👀

Thermo launcher prefferably with full auto and these guys are a mincemeat + learn how to fight - once it clicks you can do these rooms with the worst weapons and loadouts and even malfunctions and still win fairly easily. Generaly it's best to use weapons that you can shoot + forget, so things like rockets, corrosion, pylons, portals are godlike. Playing hide and seek is super effective in this game and you can focus on your dodging as you don't shoot all the time. Shooting with machine guns you have to be facing enemies constantly - if they can see you they can shoot you. These are the worst weapons to clear the biomes imho (if you don't roll some op trait combos).

Killer run man. I'm stuck on biome 5 been playing this game for years lol but obviously I've played multiple games in between. I gotta get used to the l1 r1 thing. Hopefully I can beat biome 5 this weekend.
I changed the button mapping after about 20 hours, and at first I kept pressing the wrong buttons in the heat of combat, but once I got used to it, the game became much "easier" for me.

I got to Biome 5 in 12 hours. Only played 4 souls like games before. Then I came to the internet for tips. I have a huge backlog, and don't intend to get stuck in a game for 60h...

@@TerminatorJuiceI'm about to give up on this game 💯. I made it to the final boss and lost ,now I can't get there again with full health or an astronaut. That blue dude you fought in this video always gets me😡 I've wasted so many hours grinding this last 3 biomes only to get F$%&&'. ..
@@andrewbeekman67 might as well keep going, since you made it that far! After I lost to the boss the first time, I struggled just getting back to the 6th biome... but eventually I did and beat the boss pretty easily. And then to get the true ending you have to find some items in the previous biomes, and then face the boss again.

How did you get your proeffiency that high?
This was two years ago so I don't exactly remember... But more than likely I fully explored the 4th biome before going to the 5th.
I beat challenge room 1St time with about 1 hit b4death. I suspended biome 6 for tomorrow
So basically, the strat is "get lucky"
That, and also to understand the benefits of those two perks and how they work together, because it's not like the game tells you any of that! Lol

I put 20 hours so far and I haven't even seen half of these items yet. . . .sigh . .
I'm pretty sure that the weapon doesn't show up until you get to the 4th Biome, but I don't know when and how the other items become available... Also they patched the game many times since I made this video, so there is a chance they made some changes.
@@TerminatorJuice thanks. . . I was cruising just fine till I reached fractured waste. . . I feel like the difficulty quadrupled out of nowhere. . .lol
@@Justblayze2525 There is a difficulty spike for sure, but it will make you a better player if you keep at it. Also, Co-op is an option if you ever get to a point where you feel like you want to give up... So let me know and maybe we can try and set up a co-op session. : )
