dior addict EDP is my signature! i have gone through 2 100ml bottles and 3 50ml bottles and i can tell you what keeps me coming back. i, like you, appreciate how unique of a fragrance it is. the concentration of tonka bean is so high that it smells spiced without having any spice notes in the note breakdown, and i haven’t found another fragrance to have as much tonka bean in it. it’s powdery, dense, heavy, it projects, blended beautifully, longevity is amazing; i can’t really ask for more as someone who loves tonka bean and all of the other notes in the fragrance. lovely video ❤️
@@JuicyJuice1313I remember she used to, and I can understand why she stopped. When you google fragrances, google with pull the video with the video opening to the timestamp in the video where your perfume is mentioned. While that can be great for us, it must suck for content creators.
Not to be that girl but I literally look forward to your videos every week . You’re my favorite content creator that I watch on a regular basis for the last 3 years . And you feed that addiction with your recommendations and explanations of perfume xoxo Happy holidays 🥰🤍
FYI from a scent snob -- Mysore (Indian) sandalwood is the OG good stuff. It's not common in perfume anymore because it's endangered and they're trying to insure it stays available for religious rituals that require it. It never, ever, smells pickly! Most sandalwood in perfume is either synthetic or Australian now. 🙂
random, but it’s kinda funny how you said that marshmallow and matcha has a very different vibe when we have a matcha flavored marshmallow here in Japan 🍵 those are really good you should try 😂
Dior Addict, Armani Code and Dior Hypnotic Poison edt is my most complimented fragrances of all time nothing compares them and my husband loves all of them ❤
Addict is like a white floral chai latte, not gourmand in the slightest but the vibes are similar. it’s if like chanel were to make a vanilla based fragrance, it’s so unique and classic.
I adore Dior Addict. I love it because it is creamy, lightly and sweetly spiced, warm, boozy vanilla. Not very powdery, unlike good girl. No tonka but the combination gives a slight tonka vibe, especially on the dry down. The fresh white florals and citrus notes are only on the initial spray for me. I don’t actually enjoy these notes too much but the dry down is heavenly. On my skin it’s a very deep vanilla.
I tried a few ME frags and I just didn’t get the hype. I had written them off and then I decided to get Eclair. Totally hooked! I have come to realize I only like Lataffa ME frags. Get Eclair!!! Blind buy safe! If you like Princess, AG Cloud, BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar kind of frags you’ll love it!!! Very well blended marshmallow, lactonic vanilla scent.
@@turningthesage8687Interesting. Mine didn’t need to macerate but have you tried that? Also, curious to know if you like any other ME fragrances? What is currently your top 2-3 picks?
Can you make a video about starting a collection from scratch based on 4 seasons?! Which 5 perfumes would you keep if you could only have 1 perfume for each season + 1 all year round perfume?
It was 38° in OR. I had the most compliments I ever had with 2 perfumes that are completely different. Several people at work were saying, "Who smells delicious?" And follow their nose to me. On that occasion it was Khamrah. Then I went to the gym and I topped it with Hareem Al Sultan (Spray version) and two women strangers followed me to ask what perfume it was. I couldn't remember the name, they took me by surprise 😂 I told them it was a middle eastern one, not sure if they knew what I was talking about.
Oooh Dior addict ! Absolutely love that one it’s super sexy , long lasting I get tons of compliments as well . My kind of fragrance! I also love kilian princess it’s light but I can still get whiffs throughout the day! I need to check out coco noir, I don’t like the OG coco mademoisel at all
I definitely remember your journey with Manifesto. I really love Libre Le Parfum Billie Illish snd and a new one Rise +Shine for winter there are more but top 3 .
I’m loving Empire Victor it’s a HUGE compliment getter and it’s affordable!!! Definitely one to pick up if you can find it!!! It’s like Lira and Bianco Latte and Hufflepuff had a baby ❤ I’m getting a backup asap!!!
Hi Ksenja I totally relate to what your going through with the weather in your area. I live in Gold Coast Qld, Australia, and it's the same, humid hot most of the year, in fact we have a place called Florida and Miami here. I always look forward to winter, but we are opposite seasons to you, so I'm going into summer. Ugh!🥵
I bought a tester for poison girl edt and OMG I am obsessed, I live in Florida too and I always want something sexy more grown up to wear during hot weather too and I feel like this one is perfect. 😭❤
BEEN WATCHING YOU YOUNG LADY SINCE YOU WERE A YOUNG TEENAGER. SO PROUD OF YOU, AND YOU REMIND ME OF SARA MAYES. YOU WATCH HER ALSO ISNT SHE AWESOME ❤ MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS DOLL
Love your Chanel. I love winter scents but I’m side tracked by Kayali boujee marshmallow. I love wearing BR 540 extrait, Valentino BR intense, La Belle le Parfum, ysl libre flowers & flames. 🔥
I think I may be the only one that doesn’t like Princess in cold weather. It’s my staple in spring and summer, but I find the cold doesn’t help the vanilla and the marshmallow warm up and the scent doesn’t develop the same. Also longevity is very poor anyways, but in the cold it’s worse. I’ll keep it for spring and summer where it can shine bright like a diamond
I have the original by Kilian princess, and I also have a newer bottle I just got. I truly believe this scent gets better with time. Give the bottle some time. When I got my first bottle years ago it was a wonderful scent but wasn’t strong at all. Now it’s got some power to it. Unfortunately I love it now that’s it’s stronger 😂 so I bought another bottle to macerate while I use the original. I have to say I do like the shape of the new bottle better.
Hi ksenja !! Love love loveee your videos 🩵🩵 Question about Eclair: Did you let it macerate before you used it? I got mine from Amazon and it’s currently sitting in my closet because all I can smell is a plastic synthetic cherry and cinnamon note with a hint of vanilla. I want to love this fragrance because the internet is forming a cult following. But just wondering if anyone has experienced this and got their bottle to smell just like the notes! 🦋✨
I have the Oil Perfumery dupe of Princess. Never smelled the original, but read reviews similar to your observation that it is very light, so hesitant to buy a bottle. I am really enjoying the dupe for now!
I am new to Mercari, but I am afraid to buy a full bottle and not get something legitimate. Does anyone have more experience with the app that can give some suggestions? Thank you in advance!❤
I’ve purchased from Mercari dozens of times. Honestly you are taking a chance, but I’ve had good luck. I would find something that is reasonably priced and look for sellers that have a good amount of reviews. It’s also quite a bit of RUclipsrs who sell their scents, if you trust them.
Ksenja thanks for the entertaining and informative videos. How do you define your "collection"? Is it just edp &edt fragrances at around 200? Or are you including body sprays and/perfumed oils in that number? No judgment either way; I'm just trying to figure out storage and classification of my own collection. Thanks!
Yes!!! Oakcha has an excellent dupe! I own both and it’s pretty close especially in the dry down. They have 20% off right now. I believe their version is called Sweet Addict but just type in Kilian and it will populate.

I often notice that you use the word mature when describing fragrances. Can you please elaborate what that means? I believe fragrances have no gender nor age. Would prefer describing it as how it would smell like, is it powdery? Cosmetic like? Musky? Or is it a marketing term like how ‘for men’/‘for women’ is used which is geared towards a specific audience.
It's a marketing term. I share your reservations but at least ppl say "mature" instead of "grandma". The thing is, it's a pretty good descriptor. Most of us know what they mean when they say "juvenile, mature,..." Mature usually means not too sweet, aldehydes, powdery florals, patchouli. "Powdery" alone doesn't really fit, since Yara is powdery. It usually references aromachemicals that were popular at a certain time and most of us don't know enough about perfumery to know what those are.
For me a mature fragrance is one that I personally associate with wearing it in the age group 30-50. Vintage is anything over 50. Unfortunately juvenile fragrances are all over the market now and the have good marketing and I bought them a few time. (I’m looking at you Yum Boujee Marshmallow). I think Ksenja is using the term mature to say that the fragrance does not smell young and fun or “childish”, because we all know she likes those scents, like Pink Sugar (nothing wrong with that).
@ I watch K for age-appropriate scents for my much younger friends. I realized everyone can have a role in our fragrance journeys. I even enjoy listening to the plethora of reviewers who only critique perfumes that will never be in my budgetary sphere. They are excellent resources for upcoming trends, new note combinations, or perfumery knowledge.
