Jim: I plan to tie and fish more for Bass this yr and since we don't have steelhead in my part of the country, this looks like it would be a great bass fly. Thanks, Chuck
Great tie again Jim. Thanks for sharing. How do you find all these youth tyers? hsareEverytime I look in "recent activity," I see you have gone and comment on a video you have foujd featuring a youth tyer. I am pleased go right away to watc it. Thanks for all you do All the best, Sean
That is probably a better way to do it but I'm thinking of a couple reasons. First to have the longer feathers at the back, second that was probably the best feather I had at the time. I have been putting videos up for 10 years now.
My all time favorite steelhead streamer !
Very nice craftsmanship.
Beauty of a fly. Have a few collir variations added to my box.
great thanks

It should catch them they will eat anything.
A very good pattern for bass also. It gives a wide profile and light material makes it easier to cast.
Awesome! I've had one of these in the exact color and didn't know what it was called. I love using it on a drop shot for bass in rivers.
Nicely done! I will give it a swim down the Dee in Scotland this February.
They are usually subscribers, I like to check out the channel of everyone that subscribes. The young guy's I like to watch there progress.

Thanks for the kind words. and your welcome!
Why wouldn't you tie the marabou in by the tip instead the thick stem ?

I've been going but only small ones in the same spots I've recorded before. I'm going out now to see what I can get in a new video spot.
Excellent video very detailed was a great help thank you
Awsome fly very nice i do a very similar pattern on my jigs for steelhead
Can u add a cone head and use it like a leach for rainbows and brown trout with a black and olive colors?
Sure you can the nice thing about tying your own flies is that you can customize them as you like.
It's not as hard as it looks, it just takes practice. Wound marabou is a very effective material, I suggest you learn to use it.
Very nice... Thank You
