Would be nice to have after effects for architects. Like importing illustrator files to animate arrows, sequence diagrams, and more. There are barely any videos out there for architects but it is actually a easy thing to do.

Watching this, I really would of loved to learn this when I was studying at University. If I were you, I would approach teaching or the education sector and ask for specialist lectures, sell them courses, do private tutoring, etc. I run a firm now, and we wouldn't have the time or resources to produce this level of work for our clients. I think your target market is mainly students, especially Part 2s and 3s. All that being said, this is amazing work and Im sure it will find its place with this high level of content.

Have you heard about The hotdoor “CadTools” plug-in for adobe illustrator? It’s phenomenal. And it made my life easier I’m so many ways.

hey, I need I know, in this course will you be teaching illustrator and photoshop from basics or just the isometric diagrams straight up?
Hey U V, in this course we focus mainly on diagram creation. But we do learn a lot of the basics of Adobe Illustrator. It more focused on Illustrator than Photoshop, although over the last module we use mainly Photoshop.
The courses we offer don't have the goal of simply teaching you a software. That you can find for free over youtube. We want to teach a workflow, teach you how to think and handle any type of work. That's why we focus on the process, instead of just the tool.
I hope that clears your questions, but feel free to check the course page to see with more details what I'm talking about.
Rhino exports illustrator native files with layers so you can do lineweights by layer. Also dwg files are easier to work with than PDFs. Rhinos make 2d function also gives unique layers for silouets and other line types like hidden lines. Much better work flow than using SketchUp.

Hi, I am a student within the UK and love the look of your course. I was just wondering why the VAT is an extra $20 ? This makes its slightly out of my price range
This course is very useful to learn however it's pretty expensive as I live in the 3rd world country where the course itself would cost half of the average monthly salary here. Not to mention, USD is pretty strong against my currency now. Maybe you could add an option to charge differently based on the country region so it would be much more affordable to many. Cheers

I am not very good with photoshop, sketch up, and illustrator. Would this course be helpful to me without knowledge of the mentioned softwares? Would i be able to learn the softwares as well?
Hey Bobby, this course focuses on Adobe Illustrator. We teach all the way from the first steps in this software. So if you don't know anything about it, you'll be able to follow. Now photoshop and sketchup it's recommended to have at least a basic knowledge of them. But nevertheless, we go over all the steps in detail so you'll probably be able to keep up.

Hey! so how do I export a scaled pdf from SketchUp? I am unable to get the correct dimensions.
Hi Dhruv! I don't usually work with Axonometric in scale. From all of the projects I created and competitions I joined, I never had the need to have these diagrams up to scale. That's why I don't specifically teach this over the course.
But I teach how to scale any drawing to the correct dimensions in a broader sense, and that same concept can be applied to scaling diagrams.

I am an architect student and this course looks very intresting. I see that the course has around 6 hours of film. I wanted to ask how much self study is needed by the program to get a good hang of it.
Also you are working with 3d models in this course you already made with a program like sketchup or revit. Is this correct?
Hi Niek, thanks for the interest in the course!
During the lessons we go over all steps in detail, so even if you're a beginner, you'll be able to follow. But it's recommended that you have a basic understanding of Sketchup, Vray, and Photoshop. The course focuses mainly on Illustrator, so we'll go in-depth on this tool.
The models are in Sketchup, but you can use another 3D software to create the diagrams, you just need to adapt the steps.
If so chose to use another 3D software, just make sure it can export PDF files and create clay renders.

Hey Cath, back in university they taught AutoCAD. And I got to say, I've never been a big fan of it. I then learned in my internship how to use Vectorworks, but focused on 2D. And that's what I mainly used for design. But then in the last year, I forced myself to learn a BIM software, and I chose Archicad to design my final thesis in

Hey Fredik, yes! We use Adobe Illustrator CC over the course, but we you can definitely follow the lessons with the CS6 and adapt the steps as you go.

Hey Sabiq, we do cover that a few times over the course. But I can sum it up for you here.
Well, it can be an automated process if you use the document size dimensions as reference and use the vray render aspect ratio with "match viewport"
Or scale manually until the size matches. A bit more tedious, but also works fine.

Hi Andrea, there are a lot of free Sketchup tutorials over youtube that teaches the very basic. But Udemy has also a few introductory courses on Sketchup that are worth checking out.
