This episode had SUCH a deep meaning and it hurts to know that there are actually people out there who do these types of things to others. Poor baby is in so much pain and I hope in season two, Valentino either dies off or gets his ass kicked. I could barely even watch the actual music video, since it hurts so, so much. I’m so glad Viv and the crew are passing this message that stuff like this actually happens. God, I fucking love Hazbin Hotel.
Notice how when Valentino and Angel dance he struggles to keep up, but when Husk and Angel dance, they both do it perfectly. Perhaps it’s just me, but it seems to emphasize Angel’s relationship with both characters
It's interesting to watch the reactors as the song progresses and the raw nature of what's going on begins to really sink in... which ones are still bopping, and which have gone quiet and are now sitting still. Bottom left guy got it immediately. This song is brutal when you realize the absolute hell Angel is being forced through. The insanity of compartmentalizing all of that just to keep from going insane. The emotional and physical drain it has to be to put on the act every single day, all day long, for everyone. Watching the fear on his face in each scene, and then in a flash it's gone, his mask back on. Literally disassociating right in front of us. His frantic fear at the end, locking doors, back to the walls, collapsing outside on the balcony, sobbing.
The whole scene with Angel in the black suit with the dancers was all in his head while the screens show what is going on with him physically. Later we see even Valentino show up on stage with Angel Dust in his own head. Valentino has violated his safe space.
you know Taylor and Spears can sing songs titled like this but Angel's here makes you feel Poison is going through your own system watching this because almost everyones been in some situation where we know we shouldn't of done it or done something different and we didn't and we got our own poison going through us
Maybe watch something different for now, like svtfoe, chowder, adventures ofbflapjack or adventure time or gravity falls. Come back to this when youre 16. You'll feel meaning better

Liking a character has a lot to do with many factors, being different for each individual. Theres a reason people have liked villains throughout history of fictional media just as much as heroes, as with many other examples. Valentino is well written, but I do agree with you however that he isn't really one of my favorites. It's. A. Character.
