I think they might leave you alone if you were in the second or third row...but not the front row. That’s why I kinda want my buddy to give me a second row ticket...so I can use my Sony.
Nobody anymore, it used to be Scotty rock(their tour production manager). He would actually play johns bass on stage with them and interact with the crowd while John fronts. But sometime after rise came out they just started using bass tracks while John fronts.
I saw them twice and they never fail on their shows

I used my iPhone for the rest of the show...just not the same. I like to use the zoom. Bring earplugs for your wife and sit up front lol

They have different guitars in different tunings because the songs are played with different tunings, or she just had issues and had to switch it.
