The cleanest and most organized bus I've seen so far. It's really different when you're touring with family. You naturally make the place homely for the kids😊
Took care of these guys last summer when they stayed at the hotel i worked at, from the brief interactions ive had they were all amazingly polite and awesome.
This bus is definitely up there as one of the best buses we've had the pleasure of invading. Unlike other bands, Skillet actually owns this bus too, which is pretty sweet!
His favorite thing about the bus is the white walls and ceilings..👌 Most people that don’t know them think they are dark and scary because of how they sound on stage but following their amazing career you see how normal and family oriented they are. 👌

Their first album, self-titled Skillet, was released in 1996. Their album "Awake" (which is probably their most well known album due to songs like Hero, Monster, Awake and Alive, and Lucy being on it, was released in 2009. It was also the first album that Jen played on.
Short? You must be very tall. I just hung out with them last month, and I can confirm that the only short one is Korey. John is about 5'11", and Seth is probably 6'1"...I was surprised at how tall Jenn was...maybe 5'7".
I'm 5'10, I've seen John and Jenn up close, I could have touched them but the security was in the way. I haven't seen Seth or Korey up close the just seemed short from my perspective.
These guys have been one of my favourite bands since "Best Kept Secret" and this is the first time I've heard John's talking voice. Holy wow, he's way more Southern than I expected and has such a gentle voice for the raw grit he can get singing. By far, he's the most 'normal' and tame rock star I've seen on this channel. It's very adorable that he's such a dad personality too lol :D This solidifies my love for them for sure!
Digital Tour Bus I may have heard it once or twice over the years on radio interviews but for some reason, I've never really watched interviews with the band until now (absurd, I know!). Not sure why, really, cause that even sounds strange coming from myself. Weird.
I think that's cool John and Kory take the kids on tour. That's got to be a cool learning experience for them. I'm a guitarists and my husband my drummer. We would take our 23 yr old son to shows with us and he loved it. Our 12 yr old now asks when she's going to go to shows. So it is definitely a cool experience for the kids.
That is what it looks like when you accept Jesus as your savior. You get filled with an indescribable joy that everyone can see. And make no mistake, Skillet is 100% a christian band.

I for one have enjoyed this band's music. and Jen as back up singing and mashing drums make for great stuff. you always have a great personality and music is real. keep up the great job. I been listening to Jens new music as well
Had to come back to this video after my first Skillet show last week. It was fucking incredible and made me feel even more in love with the band. But his genuinely kind and approachable attitude is incredible. Also still amazes me they built the bus themselves haha

I wish i could do school on the road with my parents who are famous rockstars. it would be awesome. seeing the world, listening to music, and doing school work that is easier than normal school.
That would be cool. I wouldn't say that the school work is "easier" though. If I remember correctly, if you're home-schooled, you have to pass a state-mandated test every year to ensure you're learning the right info and retaining it (kind of like finals). I could be wrong though.
Digital Tour Bus i was home schooled for a year or two and dont remember doing any bug tests but it could be mandatory for older grades as I was in the younger grades then. anyhow. it would still be fun and awesome to see the sights as you travel.

Been trying to film with Three Days Grace for years and we get turned down every tour unfortunately. As for Starset, hopefully we'll have something with them soon.
