Turn off the breaker unscrew the outlet pull it out and the wires are marked white wire and hot. Hot is black wire. White wire goes into the white wire side. Ground is a screw on the bottom. Hook it in the hole do one wrap and torque the screw down with a nut driver. Put the outlet back in the wall. I use the push in connections. A lot of people don’t but I’ve never had an issue up to this point.
