You are just like me Maria, we were brought up on good old fashioned food. You had to eat or go hungry hehe. It was fresh quality good food. Pizza, Italian, Indian food have never appealed to me, was never an option. I was born in Derby and i know staffordshire quite well good shopping centres. We have now retired to the coast nearer my two sons. I also loved History at school it was and still is my favourite subject. My dad came from a coastal area in Carmarthenshire so I spent a lot of my summer holidays staying there with my gran, aunts and cousins. The house I live in now was built by prisoners of war at the end of ww2 when they needed housing for the returning soldiers and their families. They were only meant to be temporary, but they're still here 80 years later! Thank you for watching 😊
Hi again Maria, I'm daft I wrote a comment on here before and I must have pressed the the wrong button🤪 I just want to say thank you for this q& a it was a good un. I did write two things about pizza and rice, pizza in the south of Italy was usually baked in a wood oven and that gave pizza its delicious taste and it was always a thin crust with tomatoes and cheese ontop. I think the US introduced all the varieties now. And just a little story about rice. I was about four years old and we family were invited to dinner at West Indian friends of my parents. I still remember it, it was beef in spices but not curry as such, not hot and served with boiled rice, I looked at my mum and said why are we eating rice pudding with our dinner, I've never lived that down🤣 having been married to my late husband who Italian I learned a lot about different foods from Italy but we traveled a lot too and so have eaten many different types of food and although I was raised on good ole English grub like yourself, I so love foods from around the world and love to cook them. Honestly I'm a daft nana I sat here and waved back at dean😂😂😂 also Maria it would be lovely to have a live meeting on here, would be a laugh. Thanks again.😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hi Maria, you're the same as me, i'm very fussy as well. I think i'm worse than you as i wouldn't even try a pizza as i don't like cheese or tomato paste. I don't like fat, peppers, mushrooms, pasta, rice, onions, plus other stuff. You used to do some days out with Sean which were interesting to do with her school work. You should film a few places to shop where you don't normally go to. You could try M&S, you can get some cheaper stuff in there now. Even if you don't buy anything you could say what you thought of the prices. You could maybe do a review on a hoover or a pressure cooker if a company sent something like that to you
Sadly I haven't got an M&S in my shopping town. We tend to go online for bigger stores which we haven't got near us. We have got some days out lined up, but I'll probably do them in a similar format to our river walk as I'm terrible at filming.
That's really interesting about how you and Dean met xx i think you were wise not to go on universal credits I've heard so many horror stories and they've harassed me too x There's multiple reasons I do patreon but I get what you are saying. I can't do sponsored stuff either because I'd have to be honest like you said from Victoria x
