Julia sold me on finally getting Signalis. Its now one of my fave horror games ever. And just 2 weeks ago I also started playing Potionomics and I'm already by the end of the game. (Yall- the more I rank up with the characters the more I fall in love with them). Im planning on getting Kentucky Route Zero next
36:15 If I had a nickel every time Julia said she had never been more attracted to a goat lady in a video game I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but its weird that it happened twice. (The other is from when they played Paradise Killer around 1:49:40)
EVERY TIME they said "tooter" my brain piped in with the old tongue twister (once a tooter who tooted the flute/tried to tutor two Tudors to toot/Said the two to the tu-/-tor "'s'it harder to toot or/to tutor two Tudors to toot")

The music in this game reminds me of, like, DS-era Pokemon side games. Like, it gives me really strong Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or Pokemon Ranger vibes for some reason.
There’s a lot of little papers and signs that seem like things you should be able to read, which makes me wonder if the devs wanted them to be little lore snippets scattered throughout the game but ran out of time to put stuff on them.
@@hallwaerd sorry, I just meant if it was intended to be readable but they didn't have time, then they likely would have fixed that for the Steam version. I have no clues for what the existing purpose of the papers is.
Why would you inflict on yourself playing something that looks like this in 2023?! Anyway, I just have the audio in the background so you do you. But it looks horrible.
This is such a weird comment?? The game is meant to look retro. It's not supposed to look like it was made in 2023. I guess you're not into playing retro games? Which like, fine, but that is a very popular niche, so it's weird to have such a strong reaction (as if you're shocked anyone would ever be into this style) to a video game style that was and continues to be extremely popular (which is why so many "retro-looking" indie games like this get made in the first place).
Nah, it doesn't look horrible, it just looks different. In the same way an impressionist watercolor doesn't look like a photo, this style is trying to evoke a specific visual style and vibe (and nailing both, so hardcore)
... huh? This just feels really out of left field in this community. (I assume you're a subscriber?) I mean, they play janky and unpopular/unconventional games on SSS *all. the. time.* and this one's pretty tame in comparison to something like 24 Killers IMO

tiny goat murderer is my new favorite character
"Oh it's one-a them diddle danglers!" is one of the most Georgia things Jacob has ever said XD
Thanks to you guys I bought the game, became addicted to it, beat it, and am now working on a glitchless 100% speedrun

Pseudoregalia is the first time I’ve bought a game because Julia and Jacob streamed it
Ooblets was my first, but this was my second!!
I actually bought Mystia's Izakaya because of them, became obsessed with it, then they never streamed it again. lol
Same! And I'm so grateful to them, it's amazing

The number of goat ladies Julia is attracted to is increasing at a dramatic pace!
@@nixand_brennt May I also add horned and antlered ladies (looks to Karlach from Baldurs Gate and Saffron from Potionomics)
nathan does not sound like a real name anymore. theres no way nathan is nathans name it sounds so wrong now.
Came here to comment that, not even 2 minutes in and they said Nathan so many times it now sounds like a fake word
Nathan's name spelled backwards is nahtaN
I read this before the video got started and was like “surely it can’t be that bad” and now I’m screeching 😭
@@MTGinresponseNahtan sounds more like a real name than Nathan
Nathan’s famous namethan.

You have unlocked a core memory in me
julias trumpet impression is 1. spot on and 2. very cute i love it
It's amazing how differently every playthrough goes. So many connecting paths! I got to places in such different ways than Jacob did.
A real key to a recognizable Snagglepuss impression is adding "even" after your sentences...
the little tuba dudes give me life
I do remember "Interior crocodile alligator, I drive a Chevrolet movie theater".
That's some nice schmovement improvement from the first stream, dang Jacob
So glad they upload vods, they stream at about 2 till 4 in the morning where i am and my sleep schedule’s not quite THAT bad
1:18:26 I thought my headphones stopped working lmao

Julia kills me slowly every time I see her. Blessed once again.
People call this a metroidvania, but it really doesn’t have much vania in it. More of a metroid-like.
This game is so damn fun to watch, I'm glad they kept playing it! Reminds me of some great games I used to play as a kid in the 2000s.
That intro has convinced me that Nathan isn't a real word. It just sounds like gibberish and I don't know if I can look at Nathan the same way again.
The music in this game is so damn good.
The Theater's background music gives me Zelda OoT LonLon Ranch vibes, luv that.
1:00:04 Julia never played a Castlevania?! I think she'd really vibe with Order of Ecclesia!
Or Blasphemy. Dope ass artstyle in that one
They don't really give you a very big allowance for Regalia unless you're tenure track so I just rent my Regalia
Watching this while i garden and Theresa some animal (cricket maybe??) chirping exactly in time with the music
Ahhhhh I love this game
i saw indeimaus' video on this and theres a mid-air backflip that Jacob has not found out about 1 hr into the video and its driving me crazy lol
I think it was only a few minutes later he gets told about it too haha!
The music in this game reminds me of, like, DS-era Pokemon side games. Like, it gives me really strong Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or Pokemon Ranger vibes for some reason.
Occasionally i remember that Pokemon Rangers existed and that it wasn't a fever dream i had
Someone needs to port this to the PS1. The music sounds similar to some early titles.
Surprise guest Boomhauer makes an appearance! 1:06:24
the speedrun route of this game breaks my brain.

Maybe in the original Game jam version, but they polished it up some for the Steam release.

Hi, secondary, less drawfee-ish nathan here. thank you for making my name stop sounding like a word there
Ending spoilers
The reveal that the symbol for God was literally just the same thing shape seen from a different angle really got me for some reason
Nathan is fake and weird sounding I can no longer think it’s a real name

Not yet. So you could be the first one to say 'first.'
