I don't know and wish I could test that as it would be fun ;-)
It's so light and should be able to take off in a short distance but I'm not sure how much friction the water would provide.
Been thinking about adding ailerons to my 600
I've never flown the 3CH version but I'd probably do the same.
Having ailerons makes it much more maneuverable.

It has a great glide and good rudder authority.
How does this perform in expert mode ? The volantex warbirds are pretty much uncontrollable in that mode.
This one is much easier than the warbirds in manual mode.
In the 1st flight video I used all (3) flight modes including manual mode.
