I feel bad this channel is inactive. I just discovered it today, when I was looking for Zombicid Black Plague videos. I love the backgroud soundtrack and light haerted nature of the content. I hope you continue to produce content. Good luck.
I really enjoyed your tutorial. I am a 1 month old beginner. My family and I started playing DnD this past few months due to covid. I became the DM for our group. We found mini's at our local game shop and I got hooked trying to paint them. Have been watching a lot of youtube videos and have found yours to be the most educational for my needs. I would like to view all of your tutorials. Consider me a new subscriber.
I like the quality of your video and the way u explain the process. It's quite deep and yet fast and not boring. Great balance there. You just get new subscriber.
At first I wasn't enjoying the new direction as much as the old stuff, but I'm happy to say it's growing on me. In the end I'm just glad to get some more vids from you guys (and the occasional Pumper edit).
Glad you got something out of it. This was filmed before I could implement any of the feedback from the Giant Spider video. I'm trying to hybridize this style a bit. (The Palatine video was another experiment in that). So future videos should feel a bit more old Pumper Jones.
No worries. If anything the production going into this style is really great :D I just love me them goofs and gaffs. Looking forward to the channel growing! Your video production channel was fun to watch too :)
When it comes to miniature painting I'm a huge fan of Sorastro's painting youtube format and editing. This is my humble opinion and I'm sure others will differ, but I'm a big believer that the focus of the video should be on the miniature. To elaborate, 95% of the time the camera should be on the minature painting, basing and showing materials. No disrespect, You but no reason for the person who is doing the painting to be in the shot, just focus on the miniature. Shooting in a forest just makes the video too busy. Sorry for my bluntness, but this is my opinion. A similar format and editing but not about miniatures is Foodwishes, he only focuses on the food. Thank you for showing interest in what I thought. By the way, your basing is some of the best on RUclips! Awesome stuff with the spider!
Juan Kulas I really do appreciate your feedback. It's good to hear the other side. I'm also curious what your thoughts on Bob Ross are. His content is very personality driven. (Not saying I'm Bob Ross, but I'm no Sorastro either) Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with me!
I still miss your unique humor, but as far as helpfulness these last two videos are great. I like how you included forgetting to paint from the lowest level out, including common mistakes like these is a great way to give beginners like me a subtle heads up about common pitfalls. I also really enjoyed how you explained OSL. Its something I really want to try including in some of my minis but its been intimidating, I'm going to be trying it out soon though on a fire giant from blood rage and I'll be using this video as a reference. I'm sure with how popular kingdom death: monster is right now there will be a lot of other people benifiting as well from your OSL tutorial. Keep up the good work and thanks for the videos!
Keep the videos coming Pumper! I like the new format a lot. The background music is always a nice touch. Any chance to see some Zombicide Green Horde paint videos anytime soon?

Aw man I just discovered this channel and now I'm sad this was his last video. 😢
Anyone know where he went?
That's me now too (another 3 years later).

Still miss your videos. Thank you for all the input, I already used and will continue to use some of the tips in the painting of my own minis.

I really liked that effect in editing you were using - getting paint bottle from off focus shelf and showing it to viewer.
Thanks!
Your basing is awesome! Love the look!

That’s the thing, Bob Ross’s format is not a format I’m a fan of. Phenomenal painter though and great personality.
Different people different tastes
Juan Kulas Cool beans! Thanks, this has been helpful.
Your basing is really incredible.

Hmm New videos every week it says ?
Pretty good, though the base is over-cluttered with too much going on.
Hey, what happened to this channel... No new vids :-(
Going all Sorastro on our asses 😂
More than a year without an update. Seems the channel is dead.
