I got one of these after I lost the keys to my other locking hitch pin. Cut that one off with a grinder, then found the keys on the floor of the garage. 😂 at least I won’t have that problem again.
months ago I found a VW car key just like your F150 key. I go to 711 for coffee late at night smtimes I take it with me in case there's idiots around..
@@MrTruckTV Wish I was there back then...you got to see some really Awesome vehicles Kent!! When I was a kid It was Sqaure body for...15 yrs!!..You had GM downsize 77'-90'. Ford was I believe 79'-91'
I bought one a few years ago. Almost immediately, the truck died. The mechanic had it 15 months and it couldn't be fixed. Truck traded! I can't give a review of the lock. I never got a chance to use it after I 'programmed' it.
I came across one of these shortly after we bought our Nissan NV3500 four years ago. It's really nice to know if you have your car key, you have the hitch lock key.
Been using this for several years now. It works great.
I agree
Pretty cool system. I always fret leaving the padlock or trailer type keys behind or losing them. This would be a great way to simplify the keyring.
Good point!

Yeah, I forgot to unlock them all before I traded trucks. You have to either keep the spare truck key or just buy the locking part.
yeah been great, been using it on my 2006 Chevy. But will they work with my newer 2020 GMC AT4?
I'm sure they do, they have 3 models for GM
