Macklemore - My husband and I live in the Phoenix area but we plan to move to Seattle in less than 2 years. We fell in love with the city in 2016 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂and this year we already visited Seattle 4 times going on 5. Whenever I hear you talk or rap about Seattle it puts a smile on my face. Of all the negative news coverage about Seattle, you put a positive spin and vibe and I love how pure and real it is. I can’t wait to settle down in the Emerald City and I’m glad you’re a part of it.

Usually, there is always this one person in the comment section who ‘has never commented on any video before but today I just had to’. Today I guess this will be me 😅 I don’t know if anyone has noticed the latest little videos on here (the tour recap and today’s one) - whoever is responsible for the ideation and execution: well done 👏 Those little 'love letters' be it the one to the fans or to Ben's city are amazing (lyrical-wise, videography-wise and storytelling-wise) and a format that suits him and his eloquence (yes, Imma use all the fancy words from the dictionary 😂😎) incredibly well. I hope to see this format continue, hope to see more of these little love letters being released about an artist’s view on the world, his challenges, his work, his craft until the next great record will be finished and ready to be 'sent' ❤

I hope this reaches you or someone in your camp. I don't have social media. I just listen to your music daily. So do my daughters. I am a 37 mom, home of Seattle, but living in Phoenix,who found your music on some of my deepest, hardest days, trying to escape an abusive husband, with two young daughters. Your music lightened the load of our lives when it seemed to heavy to bear, and gave us hope in the days we felt destitute and afraid. You gave acceptance and seemed to understand the pain of so many. How you connected to me and my girls. Honestly your lyrics got us through truly. I hope you know how valuable your words and everything you stand for mean so much. You give me the warmth of home, when I miss it so much. Thank you for help to save us, Macklemore, we love you! D.
