Hi Quenby! The reason why that Abercrombie & Fitch sweater sold so quickly (besides being cashmere) is because it's a Y2K style which is very popular right now. It's the long sleeve, V-neck babydoll style that was made popular by the Twilight series and worn by Bella Swan. Usually the girls are looking for this style in the vintage lines of the brands Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle and Hollister. ❤

So cool that you found a whole collection! Reporting back from my Escondido (San Diego region) innagural bins run: I had my first bins visit! Everyone (maybe 60 -75 people) was waiting outside, took a lottery ticket, and the timing for when you were allowed in was based on when your # was called, but I'm fairly sure everyone eventually got in---I was maybe 15 or 20--pretty good. It was tight quarters! Some open shallow blue bins like at your outlet, but there was also a stuffy back room with huge cardboard bins. I didn't make it to that area--only briefly at the end--but might try next time. That's where everyone seemed to be going to. Pricing was $25 for 15 pieces ($1.67 per piece--didn't matter if it's a huge jacket or bra), but if you had say 36 pieces, like me, you were charged $2.50 a piece on the amount over the increment of $15. I hear that LA area is different--by the pound instead. I found some decent stuff! Mainly what you call "bread and butter". A small Lacoste backpack, silk Valentino tie, kids zippered Nordstrom tie that I might keep for my kiddos, some Chicos, Eddie Bauer. So fun! If you come down to SoCal you should definitely check out our bins! Love your channel! Oh my Gosh, that a SYSTEM they have down there. Ours is basic. We wait in line and everyone can go in (they never have enough carts so I get there early to stand in line at the front and get a cart). So happy you discovered Title Nine - I've been selling that for more than five years... I don't do the plain tops usually, but swim, skorts, dresses, pants, shorts & sweaters do great. My last title nine sale was a sweater for $27 on Poshmark. And Krimson Klover is fire! So cute, I've only found it once but a 1/4 zip sold for $58 yowza. I think the Michael Kors bag is a great find... I once did a deep research on that brand and decided the best items were bags, big bags, big bags with branding. You nailed it LOL. And finally.. here are my thoughts on repairs, should you do them, or just write them off as damaged. Well... if you believed it was worth it, you would have already done it. No one works harder than you. All that hard sourcing at the bins. Listing so many per day!!! making great RUclips videos.. plus your practice and your family. Whew! If you thought it was worth it to fix those items, you would have already done it. What do you think? Get rid of them. See how light you feel. xoxoxoxo
Heidi, can I just say, I think you are WONDERFUL. I appreciate how thoughtful you are. I struggle with the "needs work" bin because a part of me wants to save the item. I would like to be a reseller that gets her average sale price up, because I believe in that model, but sell a lot of little items for $12 or 15 bucks. Thankfully I have a few $100 sales every month which helps to balance things out. This month I sold lilly pulitzer sheets for $99, a cashmere sweater for $100 and an Eileen jacket for $100. I've cancelled sales on PM before when I've found flaws while packing. I'm pretty good at fixing things but sometimes it's just not worth the time.

I have not had that experience personally but I watch my cart and sometimes cover it with a sheet. Once a woman was looking through it by accident thinking it was just extra stuff and was embarrassed when I explained it was my cart 🤣🤣
