I really like all the nonverbal communication between them. It's cute. Can def see them being the kinda pair that doesn't realize others are around. And Luz's reaction + Gus could be a whole vid of its own lol.

Honestly, I think Luz should’ve been more ecstatic to see Willow and Hunter having feelings for one another. Oh well, hope we get a little bit of that in the finale.

she’ll be plenty excited for them once she’s recovered from the shock lol! she’s just in disbelief that this was happening right under her nose and she didn’t notice! she would’ve played matchmaker but she was too focused on other stuff to realize. Really I just wanted to bring in a little humor at the end and have a callback to the episode by having her repeat that line. u can imagine that after the video ends she marches right up to them and squeezes them in a big hug and squishes their cheeks together which makes Willow giggle but Hunter is blushing harder than ever lol.
@@marimbles I guess that does make sense. Although, when she said "I missed a lot," I thought she was referring to Hunter having Flapjack's powers. Can't wait for Amity's reaction.

I love the little details like how his blush deepens when he looks at her lips and how he hesitates before kissing her and she just nods. It’s so cute and beautiful and I just love it.

I said this once before, we need to see a kiss by the finale. Don’t care if it’s an actual kiss or a peck on the cheek. Just hope we see some more moments to come for the finale episode. These two are just too cute and adorable together!!💛💚

I cannot stress enough how incredibly done this is, and not just with the art stsyle (which is also amazing). Like, for most Huntlow animatics I've seen, people put the two into the roles of more common couple tropes, which can still work, but this just felt so real and raw. You absolutely nailed their personalities, like how Hunter can get flustered without being overly flustered, and Willow is still subtly helping him with communication and trying to make things less 'tense'. But yeah, again, this is probably the most well-done Huntlow animatics I've seen. You could totally have a future in animation if you wanted to. Great job and keep it up!
Oh my goodness, i’m screenshotting this comment to look at when I’m in an art low haha. this means so much to me!! I started learning how to draw a few years ago as a hobby, so the fact that you would see that kind of potential in my work is so flattering and encouraging! And I’m really glad that it all felt authentic and in character. I’m a writer, so characterization is always a big priority to me, and it was cool to try to tell a little story visually here with just a little dialogue to support it. Again, thanks so much for watching and taking the time so leave such kind and thoughtful feedback 💜 I’m really glad you enjoyed it!

I'd like like to hear more about this bet between Gus and Amity.
In my mind amity was holding out hope that Willow has better taste than to be into Hunter so she bet Gus that huntlow would not happen but Gus knows his best friends are down bad for each other so it was easy cash for him lol

This was so great and I can seriously see this happening in the show of it had been a regular season. I was thinking Luz and the others would be reacting to their moment and kiss right before Luz shows up and was like, "Seriously! What did I miss?"😂 with Gus coming in with his illusion magic all supportive like. He is such a cheerleader for the group and everyone loves it. Lol

I always appreciate when people use the show's actual soundtrack for these videos.
Ok I never comment but I just had to tell you how incredible this is. Like I can’t even properly word my praise because no words I could use could live up to what this deserves but I’ll try 😅. The way you story boarded (right term? Idk) the animatic is so human and so real that I was completely sucked in like it was happening in the actual show. The micro expressions that you put in (and perfectly executed in the art which is its own thing, like how??? Honestly mind blown) were so tender and loving and just shows how well you understand emotion and the characters themselves (and I’m gonna be honest, this is like one of the rawest and most sincere showcasing of a tender moment like this between characters that I’ve ever seen and I am not even joking). I can not get over it I can’t! And I also have to praise the art because it’s stunning and like I mentioned earlier, showcases just how talented you are at accurately depicting emotions through art! I was so connected with what they were feeling throughout it and with the warmth and love that was radiating off of both of them was so real and just perfect. Also the soundtrack hello? Taking sounds from the show and perfectly matching it up was the sweetest touch and especially using the lumity kiss sound for theirs ugh I cannot it’s just so wholesome. And the dialogue was so cute and having willow say what hunter told her in the show after they held pinkies had me in pieces. This comment is so long but I had to write it because this is too good like what did I do to deserve this being put in my recommended?? Guh anyways this is fantastic and thank you for blessing my soul with this masterpiece 😊
I’ve reread this comment so many times and I’m saving it to look at when I feel down about my work 😭 thank you so much for taking the time to say all this. It means so so much to me! As a fan creator I really just want to express my love for stories that are meaningful to me and also to connect with other people who love the same stories. I’m so glad I could portray Hunter and Willow in a way that resonated with you and felt authentic. This animatic is pretty simple compared to a lot of others that have backgrounds and lots of characters and that tell a whole overarching story, but I just wanted to tell a small story for this one and my biggest hope was that the emotions would come through well. So it’s really encouraging to know that for you they did! Thank you again 🥺🥺 I’m so happy you like the video
