    Thank you so much for the video! I've seen one other video all my time on RUclips of someone trapping a beaver and making burgers out of it. The only other beaver videos I've seen are where they are removing the dams and that's awesome to watch. But I seriously didn't believe their teeth were that orange until Ryan showed the teeth of his first one. This might be a off the wall question but do you have to get a license to hunt beaver? Will be waiting patiently for the next video 💜

    So beautiful video. Already told my boyfriend yesterday keep an eye out for the new video. Love them so much. Do you make mittens or hats out of it vonn? I still need to learn to skin and tan from my boyfriend hopefully this winter but I'd so want to learn how to make products out of it. I want to learn to use every piece of the animals we get for something. Like I dry the bones, grind them up and make bone meal. Wish you could teach me how to make those hats and mittens.

    You should have taken your gold pan to that stream. There is lots of gold in that area. Glen said that trail was made to monitor a wildfire many years ago. There is also supposed to be one near midway lake on the Alcan.

    My grandfather used to trap Beaver and he had one stuffed and it was standing up on his back legs up he put it a stump in front of it that a Beaver had been chewed it was really cool used to take it to school for show and tell when I was younger and then when we had we got a wilder its arm was loose so I just put a little string on its arm and people walk by at the show they used to have every Friday forget what science fair or something and I used to move its arm when the people went by and scare the crap out of them

    Is the barrel of your gun in the water of the bottom of your boat?

    • @wildwoodoffgridalaska
      @wildwoodoffgridalaska  16 дней назад +1

      Sure is. I only use stainless steel guns because they get used and abused. That’s probably the same reason why I own so many guns. Always need to have one ready.

    • @RandyBaker-u8f
      @RandyBaker-u8f 15 дней назад

      @wildwoodoffgridalaska sorry,,no disrespect, just never saw that before,,I always cringe when I have to hunt in the rain or heavy snow,(but did shoot my biggest buck in the pouring rain),,I was brought up to keep them clean,but being stainless makes perfect sense. Thanks for your reply.

    Great video and Beav action! Nice shooting and I can appreciate your conservative approach to not shooting at times. I am not there to see the surroundings but that concerns me that you go up on a freshly worked kill like that without pistol drawn......springtime and hungry bears make for a potentially bad situation in my mind. Love your videos and appreciate your efforts to get them to your viewers. 011 q

    • @wildwoodoffgridalaska
      @wildwoodoffgridalaska  7 месяцев назад

      It called cavitation and happens when aerated air get to the jet. It’s common with rubber boat that do not have a tunnel. Lowering the motor would help but I would loose some ability to run shallow water.
