Stardew Valley tutorial on the Hardest Steam Achievement in Stardew. This a Stardew Valley tips and tricks for beginners video, a Stardew Valley Fun Fact. I often get asked, "What's the Hardest Achievement in Stardew Valley?", so I wanted to make this video!
Fectors challenge requires time and patience... joja mart requires losing your soul.
But what if i dont have one. You either sell your soul to the literal spawn of satan, or to Joja mart
I play without animal, only fish pond
I get roomate with krobus and I do the joja run

if someone managed to complete fectors challange without cheats had to have been on the game for days on end i tell u
there's actually a really easy way to complete it without cheats, and its by doing it level by level. if you can survive the first one without dying, leave the game and then go to sleep. journey of the prairie king saves your progress after each level. when you feel ready to play again, go back to it and repeat that for the next level. if you die, you can restart the day and your progress will be saved from the previous day. repeat that again and again until you finish it:)

@@dabordietrying I've done this, though failing multiple times. The upgrade s available are mostly based on RNG. Finally got it in the span of 2 weeks, and the achievement didn't even feel worth it...
Idk, i doubt it's that difficult, probably because most Stardew valley players probably aren't that try hard at anything. I'd say that it's easier than doing the first section on enter the gungeon without getting hit.

My morals just wouldn't let me go the Joja path.
Like, I *quit* Joja and moved to Grandpa's farm. I find it ironic if I chose to continue being a part of it, and even turn the cute ol' Community Centre building into a darn warehouse 💀💀💀

I feel like I'd be murdering the Junimos
An aproachable way is to do a level without dying, stop and sleep in the game, if you die you reset the day so that death is not accounted, then continue to the next level since you can continue from the last level completed.
That way you don't hack the game into invencibility or something, but use the game mechanics to do it but without a gun on your mind every time you die.
If this works (I haven't tried yet) it is an INCREDIBLY helpful tip!!! 😳 I have completed pretty much everything I could complete in stardew valley but the games are just so hard ... So this seems like a way they are actually beatable. Thank you for sharing the tip!!

Tbh I dont think a lot of people expected a bullet hell achiev in a game about farming, but when it comes to the Joja achiev, yeah, that's pretty impossible to do, so cant deny the difficulty of it
meanwhile haboo just casually completes it first try over and over
Lol I didn't know how it would even be possible to kill fector without dying until I watched haboo do it then I did it in a couple hours

This is it, my confession... I downloaded mods to allow achievements in stardew valley while modding, then got an immortality mod for prairie king.
I needed the 100% too bad.
Emotionally the hardest one for me would be dating everyone at once-

I made that my first goal in my first play through. I wanted both of the cutscenes

Nah, that's the most natural thing for me. I did that in my first ever playthrough. Playersexual games are my drugs.

you can cheese Fector's Challenge by pressing escape after beating a level without damage, sleeping, then going back to the game the day after, then just reset until you hit the next checkpoint, escape, sleep, play again, it's cheap, but it does get the achievement if you want to just have the full list on your steam profile

The hardest challenge is opening SV and not ending up playing for hours nonstop, leaving all your responsibilities unattended

I wanted to do the joja membership route cuz I thought it's gonna be easier but I just couldn't and 2 game days after I bought the membership, I quit the game and deleted that whole world.
I just feel like it doesn't work out because our character quit joja to go to the farm and quit the city life, and then if they join joja, it just doesn't make sense anymore to go back to how it was

Tip to anyone attempting Fectors Challenge: Do not try to do it all in one go. I spent hours and hours and hours trying to beat all 15 levels in one setting as I thought that was the only way to do it. Its easier than that.
Practice is important, but luck even more so. Play the game on the best luck day. Try to buy the first bullet upgrade, and the first gun upgrade before the first boss. If you can, buy 2 bullet upgrades, then focus on your gun.
Always keep a sherifs badge in your inventory for safe keeping. Try to conserve one for the final boss.
Depending on your skill level, you might want to beat a level, and then save by sleeping. You can do farm activities in the meantime. Then, wait for another good luck day and grind out some more levels. I personally did about 5 levels each day and then saved. That might be risky for other people, so do it as you will.
My final straw was when I beat 13 levels and died on 14. I might have been the angriest I've ever been before. Thats when I tried sleeping and seeing if I could win that way and realized I wasted hours of my life.
@Digi I am not sure if that is true. I found it helped significantly when it was a good luck day, vs a bad luck day.

Just relent and do the save scum method. I suck at JotPK and I managed to get Fector's Challenge with some patience and only a little cursing involved 😆

I'm one of those few that have completed it, only took like 10 tries because I love bullet hells and only tried on super good luck days
The luck has no effect on anything in JotPK. You got it through pure skill

literally I've been playing a lot recently, and sometimes i get so mad because of the stupid red cabbage but i just cannot do the joja route
I’ve only played stardew once, me and my friends made a server and we had a lot of good fun, even me despite finding the game very boring. I found a joja cola can once and for some reason I became very attached to it and it became an inside joke for me to be the only joja mart supporter with all my friends explaining to me that I picked the worst possible thing that goes against the entire point of the game lmao
If you're having a hard time selling your soul to joja.
Let me remind you that pierre takes credit of all the stuff you sell to him. And then when something is wrong with the item you sold to him, he intentionally tells everyone that its from your farm.
It's not about Pierre it's about all the other actually good people in the town and about not shilling for the multibillion dollar corporation that you tried to escape from in the first place
I went CC route since it's the 'lesser evil' in my opinion. I've seen small town businesses got ruined by huge shopping malls irl. Never saw that Pierre's dialogue coz I always use the shipping bin.
I sell my things to Pierre hoping one day the villagers will realise the stuff is actually from me and not Pierre or Caroline.
Ive never once sold anything to pierre....i forgot that was an option 😂

I went down the joja path exclusively out of pure spite towards pierre, and I don't regret it one bit
The reason is that most people who load up Stardew Valley aren't the same type of people who play tryhard games.
I'm glad I recently was able to get fectors challenge, wasn't easy but it was so satisfying getting it

Ahhh yes. I remember when I played the prairie king for the first time. I was simping for sebastian and couldn't find him anywhere and found him in the saloon that Friday. After talking and giving him a gift. I saw the game and thought "Can this be played?" That was the worst decision I've ever made because after a short round I deemed myself dead 💀

I beat prairie king yesterday and I got really close to getting that achievement but then at the final boss he took seven lives but I still defeated the game for the first time ever
Not even kidding, I've been close to completing Fectors challenge a few times, but never even thought of doing the joja mark achievement
I do not regret completing Joja mart route on my FIRST run
I wouldn't wish this torture even to my worst enemies

How to complete Joja challenge (easy):
- load new game
- do nothing until membership is available
- buy it
- wait for achievement
- delete the save and pretend it was a bad dream your main save character was having
I'm a natural completionist but the Fector's challenge is something else, man. I don't think I'll ever touch it ever.

I got the achievement about a week before the update came out that allowed you to "cheese" it. Took several run-throughs. Update came out and there's part of me that's glad I did it all in one sitting, but another part of me angry I wasn't allowed to save scum it like everyone else will be able to now, haha.

After two-trying the cowboy game, then going again and first-trying to the nodeaths challenge, I surprised myself. Was all about saving specific power-ups for emergencies.
Fectors challenge took me 2 real life years to complete
The main problem with arcade games, it that they're not stopping a timer on coop, and a lot of players play on groups of 2 and three which kinda makes it harder
Admittedly I gave up on anything Prairie King, as a busy mum, this part of the game is gonna have to wait till I hit the big time and have the time to toil away weeks on end to beat it.

As a person that hates fishing: joja rules!!
I have the achievement... because i had a cheat mod 💀 i didn't even know it was an achievement yet, i just wanted to beat the minigame on my save to see what the in-game reward would be lmao
I played that once and ignored it. I think it's not so much hard but people just weren't interested.
The fact that more than half of those who completed it were able to complete the challenge showed that.

Its way rarer than that, tons of people just use the steam achievement unlocker on every single game they own and have the "perfect game" status on games they have 0 hours in or only a few hours
