      Have you guys mentioned this issue to HD Dealer or make a complaint toHD corporate so they can recall and replace that handle bar. I did check with my riding buddy on his Low Rider Standard but that 2020 and also the Street Bob 2022 and both of them are even and balance. Just my suggestions.

      I had the same thing. Its the rubber bushings the risers are mounted into. However, i turned my bars all the way to the left and gave them a hard jerk several times until they were straight. Now they're perfect. Im guessing it's caused by the "assembly line" order in which they instal things.

      Same same. Saw this video long before I got my bike, and it was the first thing I noticed when I got on it due to this video. Thanks for posting… since it’s a common thing, I’m not at all concerned. May try to center them better when I change the riser.

    Yep, just got mine today. Bars are aimed to the right slightly. It’s a bit annoying, but not concerned as this is clearly a common “thing” with these bikes. May try to adjust when I swap to a taller riser. Otherwise… just gonna ride and enjoy.

    Same crooked bar bug as my ST, the problem is the riser, the fix is just loosen not take off the 3/4 riser nuts ,take the bar off, put the top clamp back on without the bar tighten to hand tight all 4 Allen clamp bolts, then re tighten the 3/4 nuts, once those 3/4 nuts are tight re install the bar in the clamp and re tighten the 4 Allen clamp bolts. Problem solved on my bike with this process. Good luck.

    I’m not a fan of that gauge setup. Especially integrated into the clamp. On a test ride i had some problems seeing the speed in the sun. My other problem is the shorter bag because of the duals. The fairing is nice and the 117” is smooth. I’ll probably wait till next year and hopefully they change those issues.

    I like everything about the ST except those gauges which I would like to replace with the single round gauge of the S. The gauge off the S looks as though it belongs on a motorcycle. If it's not possible to swap the gauges, I'd buy an S with the ST fairing. I don't carry pillion passengers but I do have a Givi 56 litre top box on my current bike which I find indispensable. Side panniers get in the way when filtering through traffic and I'd only put them on the bike for extra carrying capacity on interstate trips. I prefer the look of the bike without them on. Shoulder high thick bars that drop away that Harley make would replace those standard bars. The Milwaukee 8 is still the engine I prefer, though I'd like to explore gravel backroads on a Pan America.

    • @MikeBaker___
      @MikeBaker___  2 года назад

      I've heard that the round gauge from the S is a direct swap which is super convenient! I agree about the top box, I just received my tour pack mounting rack in the mail a couple days ago so that I can fit a box of my own. The Pan America is an awesome bike, I test rode one before I put a down payment on this bike and I was highly considering grabbing one of those.

    • @aunoates6617
      @aunoates6617 2 года назад +1

      People have done it the other way round and fitted this Street Bob type gauge to the new Low Rider S. It was done with risers and mounting plate from Thrashin’ Supply. When fired up, the new display showed all the correct info such as mileage etc. without any further input. Harley claim they used this gauge on the ST to allow more room for devices that riders use on a tour, such as Sat Nav, phone, drinks holder etc. Others think it’s to help with the aerodynamics of the vent.

    • @MrAndrew1953
      @MrAndrew1953 2 года назад +2

      There's nothing in the fairing at all but there is an option to install a Rockford Fosgate speaker which takes the place of the front plastic panel. • @MikeBaker___
      @MikeBaker___  2 года назад

      Yes that is definitely a concern if you plan on using forwards or highway pegs. I can position my leg underneath it so it's not really in the way but I can't bend my knee at all or it will hit it. This was the same way on my Sportster with the stock dished intake. Not ideal but I'm used to it at this point.

    • @joseherrera8559
      @joseherrera8559 2 года назад

      I have the moustache engine guard with highway pegs. If I try to put my foot on the actual engine guard, the air intake definitely gets in the way. The way I have the highway pegs adjusted, my leg is a couple inches away from the intake. If I had forward controls on, I could see that MY leg tucked underneath the intake. However, I am short, 5'5".
