have you tried to use them? useless and things fall out when you open them at the bottom with the "v" opening. You have to use a bag inside the bag to not lose anything small in them.
Bung King Crash Bar! When I had my FXLRS it was one of the things that I enjoyed the most! Mostly because it gave me another spot to put my feet and stretch out on long rides. Other than that, better grips to cut down on the vibrations in my hands and hand guards to keep the wind off of them in the winter. 🤘
Just bought my low rider at two weeks ago and already ordered risers bars 2 into 1 exhaust saddleman 2stup up seat lead front and rear signals with smoked caps lay down plate mini floor boards passenger pegs sissy bar. Removed the unholy reflectors off the forks bags and rear fender. And a new set of grips.
Nice overview. I'm at almost 10,000 Miles on my Low Rider ST. I have done the following: Seat = Saddlemen SDC, Slip Ons = Cobra NH, 6.5in Thrashin Risers with pullback, HD Mustache Crash Bar with Highway pegs added, Lay-down license plate holder, removed reflectors, Edward Richie Traveler pointed sissy bar, grips, new pegs, LED inserts in signals and smoked lenses, Greene Brothers Designs shifter and brake linkage...I am happy with this setup, not planning on doing much more to it, other than crushing more miles...
Love the bike. Did most of what you talked about. Bassani exhaust smoked signals with halo lcd’s trashin 10” risers saddle man step up lay down plate and back rest. Gonna add mx pegs and the luggage rack. I might change the risers again to pull back another inch or two but gonna run this way for now.
I bought hd passenger pegs and i have also a 2-2 exhaust system. Where do i put the peg on the left side? Do i need to remove the screw which holds the saddlebag and just change it withe the peg screw? I just dont get it. Love ur videos btw :))
I simply pulled the ‘goofy’ reflectors off the forks but stopped short of the rear fender and bags. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help as I’m pretty much alone in this Harley thing.
@@FXDLSBrooklyn wanna get rid of red reflectors on the rear fender and bags. They pulled clean from the front forks but worried about the White Sand Pearl on the painted surfaces. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Lordy I absolutely despise these bags on mine. The gap on each side on the bottom and crap falls out!! the little "FISHNET" they put in there in the "v" when it opens does nothing. I have to use an insert bag just to keep every thing in them. I wish I could find a drop in bag instead of this swing open bag. You can't stuff into it like you can top load either. It won't close easy when you try. So you have to pack lightly with them. Lots of wasted space.
Been wondering if the Memphis shade handguards fit on the ST and don’t hit the fairing while at full lock turn, def would be nice to have some wind protection for my hand
You will be spending thousands to get it were you want it, trust me, I know first hand. Risers, seat, sissy bar, passenger pegs and peg mounts, led turn signals, Klockwerks windshield, brake cable, wire extensions, clutch cable, grips, exhaust, tune, etc. and I did the dual analog gauges.
Did you do any of the work yourself? Everything you listed is exactly what i want to do to mine… minus klockworks windshield. What was the most expensive part?
Out of the box it already rips. I agree that there’s not much work to be done - unless it’s stuff someone WANTS to do. Minor upgrades and call it a day to make that bike a daily.

It’s a low rider s with a faring and bags 🤔 no doubt the hottest selling bike right now. But if money is tight buy a low rider s and mod it out later. The bag latches are so cheaply made in my opinion.. but yes they hold quite a bit.
I agree with the latches! everytime I try to put a but more in my bags i thing the latch is going to pop ! definitely do not ever try to overload them. I personally do not like them. The "v" on the bottom when open, that fishnet doesn't hold crap, i have an insert bag instead. Wish I could find replacement top loading bags.

I think the bags looks amazing and are big enough,I think they are great, and for the pipes yes for sure you have no choice to change them

changed the rear lights,worked the chain a little and raised my bars,gotta get used to it now XD
That motor loves the highway . I agree with you all it needs is a good exhaust nothing else . I wouldn't even bother putting cams on .

I actually like the air cleaner. It adds a little extra character to the bike. As log as its not in the way.
