Just got one! A '23. 4200 miles this riding season already. Loving it! You have me some great ideas. Especially on the touring setup. I wasn't enjoying some of the prices I was seeing haha
I installed the bungking on mine as well, swapped out the stock intake with the S&S teardrop stinger. Easy to reach the crash bar now plus in my opinion, the S&S looks better. I add some grip tape to my crash bar where my feet sit. Works great.
wow, that's an amazing bike... I love it. I'd love a Low Rider ST, might look into one next year... but you'd never catch me on the back, I only ride 😊
Happened to run across your channel, beautiful Bike, love the tour pack on it. I subscribed hopefully you'll have more great content. Good luck with your channel.
Surprisingly very good. For the price I figured I would end up buying two because the first one broke. But it's a lot better than I expected. Well worth it.
Thanks for the reply. Did you have to get any hardware or did it come with everything you needed to install. I see it says you have to drill the holes for the mounting bracket.
I had to buy a metal plate to support the tour pack. I believe it's a 12x12 steel plate. Open the tour pack up. Take the liner out. The metal plate goes in the tour pack then the quick release rack. Metal (plate), plastic (tour pack), metal (quick release rack).
Please send me some information on the parts you have put on I am really liking the way it looks. I am getting ready to buy a new lowrider st. So I can get a headstart on putting it all together. Especially the risers and the pegs and tour pack and exhaust. I really like the setup
Have you had any issues with that mounting bracket for the tour pack..? I am thinking about getting the same setup but noticed the locking mechanism on the bracket is different than the mechanism that was on my street glide mounting bracket…has it been working for you and staying secured to the bike..?
Hey dude, your bike is looking great and I appreciate your video. I ordered hand guards with the same model number, but they came with a cutout for turn signals. Do you know much about this? Thanks!
I just checked the link and it sends you to part number MEB7220 which are correct and for a fxbb Street Bob. The FXLRS have the cut outs MEB7221. They might have missed packaged them or sent you the wrong ones. Send them back and get the ones for the Street Bob.
I want the tour pack for the Low Rider ST, but your link has a fit for a different bike. Can you please confirm exactly which tour pack I need? I'd truly appreciate it!
This is the one from eBay that I ordered. The hold fast rack fits but you have to buy a lay down license plate kit for it to work. www.ebay.com/itm/334391030779?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=P0r1RES7R5a&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=4gfwuwmfsy-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Hey brother with the seat combination with the fairing shield what kind of coverage are you getting on wind blockage on face? How tall are you? Just trying to get a idea for the feel?
The seat got me up and back from the stock seat. I don't know how much, but it feels like it did. I'm 6' tall, and have the HD 10" screen. It is much better than the stock one. But don't think it can compare to a touring bike windscreen. It is very narrow and the "pocket" it makes is minimal. With a fullface helmet, screen down, I get no buffeting at all. With the same fullface, screen up, it buffets all over the place. Open face or no helmet I get minimal to no buffeting depending on how windy it is. Again the screen is narrow at the top and the pocket it makes is small.
Thanks! Depends on what you like, how you ride, if you wear a helmet or not. The stock windscreen does a nice job of deflecting wind. And looks better on the bike. But if you need just a little bit more protection, you might want to consider the taller screen.
With the taller one, yes. It's not touring bagger good but probably the best Softail windscreen/fairing combos out there. The fairing does magical things with the wind pocket on the rider. Calm air and no updraft.
The tour pack Mount is for the sport glide. For this to work you need to get a lay flat license plate kit. Or get the sport glide license plate relocation kit which brings the license plate below the brake light.
Off the showroom floor, no. You'd have to buy what's needed to make it two up capable. I believe the Softail frame is shorter than the touring FL frames.
Question re the stereo and your remote volume control. Are u able to Bluetooth to the remote and your phone together. I always though u could only Bluetooth to on device at a time. Have the system ordered for my ST so wondering how it works together. Thanks
I had to get used to the mid controls. Once I put the mini floorboards on it made a ton of difference. I'm not a huge fan of mid controls but with the new seat and mini floorboards, I like them now. The seat moved me up maybe an inch and back some.
@@motorcyclemishifts4640 that’s good to hear about the floor boards! I just ordered a LRST and I am looking at doing what you dude. Plan on going with the 6.5 inch pull back riser, saddlemen SDC, and the mini floor boards.
It's called chubby buttons and yes that's exactly what I got it for. It uses a 2032 battery and works great! I think RF makes something similar but it's more expensive.
Check out DG Sliders, Ill bet he can make longer bar ends for that bungking crash bar which would give you more room for your foot, nice bike I have the same one!
With the passenger seat, back rest, trunk, etc it looks like you have converted a low rider sport into a geezer glide. But I get it’s all no tools quick release for that dual purpose nature like the Sport Glide. This windshield looks better than the stock one except that it could use more tint like the stocker.
I actually have seen someone with the same windscreen tint it using tinting spray. Didn't know that was a thing! Lol but I really want to see what klock werks makes for the bike. Should be coming out soon
Cool man I’m trying to decide between a sissy and the pak. My biggest concern was comfort and looks but it looks pretty good and doesn’t seem out of place on the softail line. Nice ST. I went with the gunship grey, riot floorboards, neighbor haters as well. Still waiting on my fosgate system tho, as well as a bunch of other people haha. How do you like the sound from the fosgate? Is it worth it in your opinion?
At some point I might get a sissy bar. I mainly got the tour pack for travel/camping. The audio system is worth it. It's damn pricey but it sounds great.
I'm guessing next year they will have a couple more color options and the random missing or broken o-ring thing figured out. In my opinion, it's the best Softail they have made in years. If not ever.
She is not as comfortable on it as she was one my last bike (2016 Kawasaki Vulcan vaquero 1700). But way more comfortable on it then my old 883. She can do day (few hours) riding around, stopping randomly. It all depends on your passengers size. Bigger bikes fit bigger people. The Softail frame is smaller than a touring frame (length).

I just traded my street Bob for the lowrider st.. yesterday.. 4 miles on it… has 226 today.. I didn’t want to stop riding.. it’s a great bike
Definitely worth the upgrade

Ordered the same handguards. Mine were hitting the fairing and not the windscreen with stock bars and risers.
Once I raised the bars they stopped hitting. I just had to go taller than the 10" windscreen. Lol
