Mine is unreliable. When using the Auto fill, it always cuts off WELL below the set pressure. I only use it if my other non-name brand tire compressor isn't charged. Sad, because I have almost all of the other RIDGID tools in my 'arsenal' and this one is terrible.
This thing is the worst tire inflator I have ever owned... my cheap Chinese crap works while this thing never worked. Ridged even sent me a new one and right out the box, the second one didn't work either. Piece of garbage.

Same thing with mine it does not auto shut off and it's not even reading correctly
Can the battery be charged through the inflator or do I have to buy a charger? Pretty moronic if they sell it with a battery but no charger.

the quick connect SUCKS, it just lets air out of the tire I cant figure out how to connect it securely so the air goes in the tire instead of out
I noticed it is two separate sliding pieces. The larger goes over the hose and the smaller locks it in place.
Does it charge with that adaptor??
