    for a Filipino - it is unusual to see people eating with fork instead of spoon, it would be much easier if you just used spoon and fork to mix all things up 😅

    • @Nastasya_Life
      @Nastasya_Life  2 месяца назад

      @@lifeisshorts2115 To be honest, I don't really understand how to do this with a spoon and fork, that is, a spoon goes instead of a knife? We are used to eating something with one device - a fork or a spoon. if we use two devices at once, it is usually a fork and a knife.

    • @Hainakupu
      @Hainakupu 2 месяца назад

      @@Nastasya_Life you will use the spoon to scoop and cut the food while the fork is to push them into the spoon or pick some. that way, you can get meat, rice and vegetables all at the same time for perfect bite. hehehe. no need for knife if the meat and vegetables are so tender.

    hi! Nastasya, magandang umaga.. Kamusta? (How are you?) I hope your doing good.. First of all i miss your voice cause it's so calm & soft.. i like it.. 😊 Your kalderetang baboy is so delicious especially, while it's hot.. i can see the smoke coming from it.. Seeing Danya, eating it made me hungry and say "Danya, save some for me" 😅 Danya, is very obedient and respectful young boy.. I'm sure you & your husband teach him to respect elders especially to his parents.. 🙂 I'm happy to see Russian people are into filipino dish.. Today i've seen some Russian vloggers cooked filipino dish on their vlog & it's so nice and heartwarming to see you all cooking filipino dish.. Dima (a russian also and a friend of Andrei) cooked Inihaw na baboy (Grilled Pork) on his vlog, Tanya, cooked chicken adobo, Kate cooked Caldereta and You also cooked caldereta + with Rice.. Thanks to all of you for cooking & introducing filipino dish in your country and to other russian people.. 🙂🙏❤️ I notice you don't use spoon? I also noticed that on Olya's vlog and mentioned it to her.. We used spoon and fork mostly when eating.. Even inside the restaurant but, in restaurants they have a knife.. Such a nice of you to volunteer and assist on helping a kitten.. I'm sure the kitten is very happy now that she is washed & cleaned by you.. And I'm sure the kitten is also thankful to you for your kindness of helping her clean and removed the fleas on her body.. oh, one more thing before i forgot i like the knife that you have in your kitchen.. 😊 Good job! Nastasya.. God bless! 👏👏👍 🙂🙏❤️ 🇵🇭❤️🇷🇺

      Hi, Pau👋. Magandang Gabi. Mabuti👍. Now, for some reason, the views have dropped, which means that the motivation to speak English has decreased😔. Because it's not easy for me and it takes a lot of time. Danya is already beginning to enter a transitional age, psychologically, and sometimes he is simply unbearable. It doesn't always get into the camera's field of view, so sometimes it's not easy for us, but we try😅.
      Yes, we are more used to eating with a fork, that's right.
      I can't pass by when I see kittens in this condition or just stray animals. I will cure him and find loving owners for him. Thank you very much, God bless you🇷🇺♥️🇵🇭🙏🥰

      @@Nastasya_Life hi! Nastasya, sorry, to hear about your views that dropped but, i think it has nothing to do about you speaking english in front of the camera.. I like how you speak english & that is better if you speak english in your vlog cause your viewers can understand what you are saying, we can communicate with you even more & your english speaking is improving.. So keep it going.. Your son is all grown up and it’s understandable if he is not into camera always.. Soon he will be a teenager so, yeah his adolescences is approaching.. It happens to all the children so don’t worry about that.. 🙂 How’s the kitty? Have you find a new owner for her? I hope you can find one but, if not i am sure it’s okey for you take care of it for awhile.. at least the kitten has a place to live and stay.. God bless! Nastasya and family.. 🙂🙏🏻❤️ 🇵🇭❤️🇷🇺

    Yum! Eat this with rice and it fills your stomach quickly. I think there are those who use this for pasta like spaghetti. Many in the Philippines would add some sugar or pineapples to make it sweet. I've never eaten this with cheese. I'll try adding cheese next time I buy from store. There is almost always caldereta sold in food stores and food courts in malls. I think many Russians who love eating pork will like this kind of dish.😊

    Notes:
    - You added liver paste! Yay! I don't remember if it was Andrei or Liza, but they tried making caldereta (калдэрэ́та), but I never saw liver paste, so they technically cooked afritada instead.
    - The vegetables and meat are cut too small for caldereta. I can see this at 3:49, where you're mixing the vegetables with a dinner spoon. I'm not sure if I said "1-inch cubes" before, but maybe about 1.5 to 2 inches would be a more suitable size for caldereta.
    - If you run out of bay leaves, the caldereta will still taste good without them 😊
    - Adding cheese to caldereta is not traditional, but personal preference. I'd do it if I had a block of cheese in the fridge 😆
    - Filipinos will sauté the garlic first. This way, the flavor of garlic will be in the oil. Then you add the onions. I know, garlic burns very easily, but the trick is to add the onions when you start to smell the garlic. If you sauté the onions and garlic together, you won't get a lot of the garlic flavor.
    - Bell peppers🫑are traditionally cut into squares or triangles, about half an inch.
    - As usual, you showed respect to the recipe, cooking it as close to tradtional as you can! 👏
    12:14 The durian is *not* considered by Filipinos to be the national fruit. The mango 🥭is considered to be the national fruit.
    13:30 some recommendations for Danya that you should be able to do in RU: kikiam (кикиам, fishcakes with Chinese five-spice mix), kwek-kwek (куэк-куэк, hard-boiled quail eggs battered and deep-fried), tokneneng (токнэ́нэнг, similar to kwek-kwek but with chicken or duck eggs), siomai (Шумаи, Chinese dim sum dumplings), isaw (и́сау, grilled or battered and deep-fried chicken intestines on a skewer), mais con yelo (маис кон ело/маис кон йело, shaved ice with milk and creamed corn). I also need to mention halo-halo (хало-хало) even if it might be difficult to do in RU because some ingredients might be hard to get or need to be prepared ahead of time.

    • @Nastasya_Life
      @Nastasya_Life  2 месяца назад

      Thank you very much for such a detailed analysis! Yes, I was misled about durian by mother Olya (Andrey and Liza's mother) when she came to visit me.
