Hi, Pau👋. Magandang Gabi. Mabuti👍. Now, for some reason, the views have dropped, which means that the motivation to speak English has decreased😔. Because it's not easy for me and it takes a lot of time. Danya is already beginning to enter a transitional age, psychologically, and sometimes he is simply unbearable. @@Pau_5986 The kitty is doing well. She is very afraid of everything, literally every rustle, she will get used to the person and learn to trust. As soon as she recovers, she will go to a new home.☺️😸
Yum! Eat this with rice and it fills your stomach quickly. I think there are those who use this for pasta like spaghetti. Many in the Philippines would add some sugar or pineapples to make it sweet. I've never eaten this with cheese. I'll try adding cheese next time I buy from store. There is almost always caldereta sold in food stores and food courts in malls. I think many Russians who love eating pork will like this kind of dish.😊
By the way, my son and I were just discussing that we can try this dish with pasta. I'm glad to be useful! Yes, I think my compatriots will appreciate this dish☺️
Notes: - You added liver paste! Yay! I don't remember if it was Andrei or Liza, but they tried making caldereta (калдэрэ́та), but I never saw liver paste, so they technically cooked afritada instead. - The vegetables and meat are cut too small for caldereta. I can see this at 3:49, where you're mixing the vegetables with a dinner spoon. I'm not sure if I said "1-inch cubes" before, but maybe about 1.5 to 2 inches would be a more suitable size for caldereta. - If you run out of bay leaves, the caldereta will still taste good without them 😊 - Adding cheese to caldereta is not traditional, but personal preference. I'd do it if I had a block of cheese in the fridge 😆 - Filipinos will sauté the garlic first. This way, the flavor of garlic will be in the oil. Then you add the onions. I know, garlic burns very easily, but the trick is to add the onions when you start to smell the garlic. If you sauté the onions and garlic together, you won't get a lot of the garlic flavor. - Bell peppers🫑are traditionally cut into squares or triangles, about half an inch. - As usual, you showed respect to the recipe, cooking it as close to tradtional as you can! 👏 12:14 The durian is *not* considered by Filipinos to be the national fruit. The mango 🥭is considered to be the national fruit. 13:30 some recommendations for Danya that you should be able to do in RU: kikiam (кикиам, fishcakes with Chinese five-spice mix), kwek-kwek (куэк-куэк, hard-boiled quail eggs battered and deep-fried), tokneneng (токнэ́нэнг, similar to kwek-kwek but with chicken or duck eggs), siomai (Шумаи, Chinese dim sum dumplings), isaw (и́сау, grilled or battered and deep-fried chicken intestines on a skewer), mais con yelo (маис кон ело/маис кон йело, shaved ice with milk and creamed corn). I also need to mention halo-halo (хало-хало) even if it might be difficult to do in RU because some ingredients might be hard to get or need to be prepared ahead of time.
Thank you very much for such a detailed analysis! Yes, I was misled about durian by mother Olya (Andrey and Liza's mother) when she came to visit me.
