In my opinion, Halloween 4 is the best sequel in the franchise. Man, this movie brings back so many good memories. When I was a kid, I had a friend who had an older sister that worked at a video store. Even though I wasn't old enough, she would let me rent rated R movies. I remember riding my bike up to that video store and renting Halloween 4 on numerous occasions. For me, Danielle Harris is what really makes this movie so special. For only being 10 years old at the time, her performance was amazing. Also, I think that H4 had the best ending of all the Halloween movies. This movie will forever be a staple in my movie library.
which is why I can't understand some of the reviews I have seen on YT blasting the film. now of course, to each their own, not calling anyone wrong....but H4 is the last film in the entire franchise to capture atmosphere, suspense, and horror with a mix of humor. the story was set up in the first ten minutes, and then like H1, the rest of the film is spent scaring the hell out of people. I saw this before I went back down to college. once back, that night, I was asleep in bed. Now I was 18 at the time....and I opened my eyes....and SWORE MM was standing over me as I was laying there. Jumped straight up. standing in the middle of my bed. could have been a NBA player with the vertical I achieved that night. Dude I agree!! I think this is the best of the whole series. I’ve loved since the first time I saw it. They really did an amazing job with the atmosphere, music, and the acting. Michael was presented to us more as an almost paranormal evil force rather than a guy with a mask on and GPW killed it. Best Michael and most intimidating. I loved the mask. It’s blank, emotionless, and empty. Michael is scarier without the details. Love love love this movie and Ellie Cornell especially!
I love Rachel so much. I feel like she never quite gets enough credit. Man, she was so aware on her feet, from the rooftop scene to the fire extinguisher in the school to the truck scene. Ahhhhh. One of my top final girls EVER.

Funny, I decided to introduce my daughters to the Halloween franchise with Halloween 4 about a week ago. To my surprise, they actually found it to be very scary considering it's an old movie. Another great review. Halloween 4 is my favorite sequel in the franchise, and I'm glad to hear you give it the praise it deserves. It's a good, unpretentious film that doesn't get dull, and at the heart of it is its awesome central characters.
This is my favorite Halloween sequel and I'm so glad you've revisited it. I love this movie because it's so similar to the original, yet so different. I also love the acting. And Michael Myers, while he could have looked better, he looked ok, but he was such an unstoppable monster. And the f*ckin ending movie was AMAZING!!!!
One of my all time favorites, of the Halloween Franchise, and of my childhood. Danielle Harris’s acting was so great and astonishing at such a young age in such a dark type of film.🎃🔪 I even liked Part five also!! Been binging some of your videos today Lee lol!! Another great review, of such a still awesome cult classic!
What I love about Halloween 4 is the simplicity of it, which was also great about the 1978 original. No polarizing twists or complex origin sub-plot(s), didn't go out of its way to answer every question, still kept some mystique.
The opening of this movie with Michael Myers recovering his wounds from his last appearance and escaping from the ambulance reminded me of the opening of Friday the 13th Final Chapter when Jason is recovering from his wounds and he’s in the hospital he kills the nurses & escapes which is also a reference to Halloween II
I honestly didn't know how to approach talking about this sequel until now because up until Halloween kills, this was the Myers sequel that I had the most mixed feelings on. On the positive side of things, this movie has one of the most unique openings out of any of the sequels. It's the first film to not use the Jack O Lantern opening from the first three movies and instead goes for an ominous tone that permeates an autumn atmosphere, very haunting.
It has a great natural feeling to it like the first, it has that original Halloween magic, the ending is definitley not a disappointment! Masterfully done👍
I started with Halloween 2 when I was 4, saw the original (and fell in love with it) when I was 7. Then, in 1988, Halloween 4 came along. I was 8. The thumb to the forehead did it for me. I've been a Michael Myers Stan ever since, and it's thanks to part 4
Such a good fuckin movie. My favorite horror of all time and the first one I ever saw on TV when I was a kid, scared the shit out of me. Great atmosphere, colors, theme music and kills..from the intro to the end..AWESOME!
I miss the good old days. It was 1988, I was a Halloween fanatic watching the tv and a commercial for Halloween 4 came on the tv. I must have skipped out on reading Fangoria lately because I hadn't heard of any new Halloween movie. And it was TWO WEEKS AWAY! So I go into the movie totally cold and loved it. Thirty years later I still enjoy it, although I'll admit parts of it haven't aged very well. Kinda sad it's about to get re-re-retconned out of existence. Again.
Another excellent review! This is a great sequel. Saw it in the theatre. Great characters, score, and Loomis is excellent. Love the scene where he gets picked up by the preacher. He’s like, “And people think I’m crazy”. Your reviews are spot on, great job!
Yes! That intro was DOPE!! Great review, Lee-or, should I say, great “revisit”, lol! I can feel your enthusiasm about Halloween and Michael Myers; and can definitely sense how much you love (and enjoy) these Halloween films. This was enjoyable to watch as always-like watching a good friend of mine give a review/revisit video. Well, have a great weekend, Lee! I plan to get a few pumpkins and do some pumpkin carving this Sunday and watch the HELL out of Stranger Things! 🤗🖤🎃🌙🦇🕸🕷💀🔮
Great movie that gave me nightmares too. One scene I remember that no one seems to mention is that scene where Loomis is picked up by that Preacher. That was a great scene. The way they banter and the lines Loomis delivers is just awesome
Drum, that's when you KNOW you hit the grand slam. when its so quiet you can hear a fly fart...people are into it. haven't seen a crowd like that for a Halloween movie since.
Great video and review Lee!!! I love Halloween 4. Definitely one of my favorites in the series! I love the characters, the story, the opening, and the moments when they are trapped in the Sheriff's house.
Halloween 4 is not only my favorite Halloween movie but my favorite horror movie in general. The intro of this movie is great, it gives me chills, the farm without the halloween theme song, it was fresh and diffrent. Before i saw this movie i was thinking to myself "how will they bring myers back in this one after that explosion?" I thought i would probably not like the explanation they would give us for why Myers is still alive, but they just said that he and loomis almost die but both survived and some how i loved that simple explanation, it was better than anything they could come up with. For me the halloween movies were not only about michael but also about loomis and both were at their best in this movie , Loomis is a great horror hero in this movie, you can feel his emotions about Michael and how he really wanted to stop him. There's a scene were loomis is hitchiking and a reverend gives him a car ride, that scene is gold because that man was insane and a curious character that was also hunting evil, i would love to see more of his story. Michael feels more dangerous in this movie than in any other, this is my favorite version of myers by far. Rachel and Jamie both were amazing characters, the side characters were all great and the end of this movie is just perfect, too bad they screwed it in the sequel they could had take the series in a fresh and diffrent direction. To me this movie will never be toped, Halloween 2018 isn't as great as this one and sadlly i'll say that without the great Dr.Loomis no other halloween movie will be as good, Donald gave us his best with his character and his performances were perfect. This movie as apecial place in my heart i really love it from begining to end
Great commentary man! I saw this in the theatres opening night with my dad in the 6th grade. Best movie theatre experience ever. Everybody was so into it. Did you know that the line "Let it burn!" (that Jamie Lee says at the beginning of Halloween Kills) was actually in the original Halloween 4 script? I agree with you about the mask. In the theatre, you didn't really think twice about it. Great channel.
Halloween 4 is the best in the franchise behind the original. This is my favorite Donald Pleasence performance as Dr. Loomis. The way he talks about Michael is chilling! I’ve seen in a documentary where the rooftop scene the house was supposed to be on fire but they ran out of money. That would’ve been awesome! The ending still creeps me out til this day. A horror classic.
Drumdums I agree. His legacy will live on forever. I wish there was a character like him in the Friday The 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street Series. Great intro by the way.
My favorite scene was the rooftop chase. Danielle Harris thinking Rachel was dead, then running down the street, she looked absolutely terrified! There's something about Michael going after a child that really unnerved me (in a good way)
Your memories of this film are almost identical to mine. I also saw this on opening night just days away from my 15th birthday which falls right before Halloween. I went with a group of friends and the theater we went to was packed as well. I remember what a roller coaster ride going to see this was. The audience was screaming, laughing, cheering, then screaming again. The scene that had me jumping out of my seat the most was the attack on the roof of the house and Rachel was hanging from the gutter high above the ground while Michael was stabbing at her hands. The whole audience was losing its shit. In many ways, I prefer this one to the original, and don't care for part 2 much at all. I saw the original when it first aired on NBC on Halloween night, 1981. We had a black and white set at the time and we shut out all the lights and it was storming outside. It really scared the shit out of our family. Later on, I saw it in color and it wasn't the same. In Black and white I could believe it was Halloween in a Midwest town much like our own. In color I noticed details you couldn't see in B&W, like palm trees in the background in certain scenes, and a generally too-green appearance overall. Plus that mask in B&W is twice as scary because you don't see it until its close. I wish they would release it in B&W to be honest because it just becomes a different film. Part 4 really sets the tone with those opening credits and just the overall look. Plus I love the scenes in the drug store because it feels so authentic as we had stores like that where I lived. They really got it right. Part 2 I thought was boring until the third act. A lot of times the Halloween theme is playing while nothing is going on to the point it feels overused. Plus, it seemed like a cash in on the horror-in-the-hospital sub-genre popular at the time with films like Hospital Massacre, Visiting Hours, etc. Part 4 in general seemed like a better directed film, and fleshed out characters that you cared more about. Plus it was the debut of Daniel Harris who has contributed greatly to the genre.
I also respect that we are not focusing on Lauire Strode this time around and instead one of the many kids she would have in most of the various timelines, in this case her daughter Jamie. Once again, it gives the impression that it doesn't matter how distant you are to Michael Myers, if your related to him, he's coming for you. I also like how the legacy of what happened ten years ago has had an effect on her. It's a lot more personal for a little girl having to go through all this constant stress versus a teenager like in the other timelines.
I guess you could say that Halloween 4 is the most important one for me as well, it was the first Halloween movie I ever saw, staying over at a friend's house when I was 12 years old. I always go back to this one. It got me hooked on the series.
Dude! You mentioned the commercial and i got chills! I was a obsessed (and terrified) with 1 and 2 prior to the release of 4. i had no idea they had made another one and i was literally in bed watching tv one night and that commercial came on. I swear to god I almost shit myself!! I didn't sleep that night!
I was 11 when Halloween 4 came out, so just around Jamie's age. This movie terrified me, because I could imagine myself in her shoes having to deal with an unstoppable force like Michael Myers. It had great sets. The rooftop set where he is chasing them on the roof of that giant house. The school set. Every house seemed to be a giant sized, and spooky. It was an awesome return for the franchise. I put it behind Halloween 1 and 2, which I kind of see as one movie, since they happen back to back. The intro is one of the best. I do love the pumpkin intros, but this one set the mood just right.
Great to see your passion for Halloween 4 and for the franchise. The original Halloween is just a fantastic film - it is in a completely different league to any of the other offerings - I feel like it is low key acknowledged as one of the greatest films of all time, which it definitely should be. Very few films will ever have the impact that the original Halloween has had. This is definitely the second best of the franchise. Props for the MacReady shirt - another one of the all time great films.
I loved this movie too. My older brother took my younger brother and I to see Halloween 2 when I was really young. It was a Friday the 13th and my Mom was in the hospital at the time. It scared the crap out of me. It gave me nightmares and I loved it. I got to see H 4 when it came out, I was 18 then and it just cemented this as my new addiction in life. I have been obsessed with the franchise since then.
Rachel is also a very good final girl. I also like the arc they give her. Starting out as a stuck-up teenager who doesn't even accept Jamie as her adopted sister, but then starts to realize that responsibility and starts to care about her once Michael is set lose on the town. However, if I had to pick a favorite character in this movie, it would have to be Dr. Loomis. I would actually go so far as to say that this is the best Dr. Loomis movie by a landslide. He starts off as someone who wants to destroy Meyers, only to find out in the end that you can't truly put an end to the evil.
Loomis is the ultimate 'Ahab'. They really nailed this film though, sheriff didn't take no shit, he was like "Myers is back? We ain't takin no chances!" *grabs shotgun* the characters seemed real for the most part. Love it.
My favorite sequel in the franchise by far, and outside of the first film, the only one that genuinely scared me and got it right. I felt like Donald Pleasence was at his best, Michael was vicious yet controlled, a starlet was born in Danielle Harris. It really was the perfect sequel to the franchise. I believe the time off between 2 and 4 really gave them time to nail this movie and that is exactly what they did.
I totally feel you on this one. My family never watched horror movies because we were always sci-fi when I grew up, so I didn’t get Introduced to these until my mid 20s. This was my first film in the slasher genre(I had the double feature 4/5 dvd), and I LOVE this one. It’s a tie with the original for my favorite. It’s probably the one I’ve watched and think of most. EXCELLENT review!
Great video. What's really cool is that Tom Morga had done a portion of the filming and George just comes in and makes it hardly noticeable. Like when Myers kills Brady. That was Tom Morga (Edited...it was Wilbur). This movie is definitely in my top 3 Halloween films.
Halloween 4. What can I say? The first time I watched it I was captivated from beginning to end, and it stayed in my mind for weeks afterward… I never expected that of the fourth film, in any franchise…
your review made me want to watch this movie I'm not a big Michael Myers fan I'm into Jason having the same name and all lol but the way u talked about it made it sound fun
They filmed the paramedic ambulance scene West 12th st. Ogden Utah 84404. I love 5 min from there and remember when they were shooting this film there. I've loved this franchise since I was 4 or 5 years old.
Great review Lee. Halloween 4 was always one my favorite horror sequels, and in my opinion, it's one of the best Halloween films. Only thing that sucks is how next film fucked up great opportunity for another good sequel, possibly with Jamie as villain.
Great video mate. I absolutely adore Halloween 4. I think much like Jason Lives in the Friday the 13th franchise this is the feel good one. The one you could show someone who isn’t a fan of these films and they’d have a great time.
I think the intro with the credits is the best opening in any movie. It's got that Children of the corn feeling. Very eerie. But I don't care for the mask. It's too white maybe. But everything else about this movie is stellar.
Haven't revisited Halloween 4 in years man. I just couldn't get into it like everyone else but this month I'm going to rewatch it and hopefully I think it's better on my 3rd watch.
The best atmosphere in all the Halloween movies. Great video Lee. This was the best feel vibe ambience it was the best . loved Rachel and Jamie. The sheriff Loomis. Just wish they would of just had the same mask from Halloween 1978. And the actor who played him George Wilbur would of been a smaller actor not 6 foot 4. 5 11 at the most. But it still is a great film great vibe great Halloween look. Awesome. Shape on!!! Good video.
Man I feel old watching these reviews....This critic is the best of all time..Detail and we'll verse in the film business. You should be studio executive because the film industry would benefit...Kudos
You knew I was bound to comment Lee!!! Yes Halloween 4 is a big reason we even have all the movies after in the franchise...but I'm more interested in Halloween 3 VHS review!!! Awesome work Lee... your the man!!! 💀🎃
I only have just recently discovered your channel and I have to say this is an insightful and well dictated review. I know this may sound stereotypical but the southern accent adds a bit of charm as well. Keep up the good work!.
Due to my love of the original and all the terrible things I've heard about the sequels, I've always avoided watching any of the sequels. But all of your praise for part 4 got me to watch it and honestly, I'm psyched you convinced me cause I think it was great!
Justin Goodrich Yeah none of the sequels compare to the original, but I have a blast with most of them and it’s interesting to see the story carried forward in different ways. 4 is a very well-made and effective horror film.
I remember this movie being referenced on Family Guy once, so I decided to watch it. It’s been awhile and I don’t remember being that good, just that it was really entertaining and Danielle Harris’ performance. But after this review Drumdum, I may revisit it as well.
Thanks for the shoutout. I wish I still had the mask but unfortunately Latex has no shelf life and the mask eventually fell apart. Plus he gave it to a 8 year old kid so I wasn’t really the best with it. I wore it ALL THE TIME. And that wasn’t actually Bucky in the film, they named that character after Bucky and threw it on his helmet as a nod to him. Bucky Moore worked behind the camera as the property master who was in charge of the masks. He said the mask I had was the one used in that power plant electrocution scene which is just awesome. Solid review man.
I am 42 and grew up watching Halloween 1 and 2, i was 5 when 8 saw boys and pieces of Halloween from my mom watching it, i would eventually watch it in full and by the time I was 13, Halloween 4 comes out and man was i excited, it couldn't have been R rated cause my friend and i got in to watch it, was a great movie loved it, to me i consider Halloween 1,2, 4 the only Canon and good Halloween movies i have them all and love boys and pieces from them but it's 1, 2 and 4, now with the new 2018 coming i know we are going to be happy i can't wait, even though our fav sequels are being forgotten, that's ok there's plenty of room for a new re imagining especially when Mr Carpenter is directly involved, i love all the movies we and nothing beats watching them this time of year
Obviously a little late here but i just found your channel and have been watching your Halloween revisited videos. I always love Brady and Rachel's characters. Rachel is a great final girl while Brady was an asshole who turned into a good guy who was brave and died valiantly.
Halloween 4 does fall back into the template of the first film but that's a good thing about it. The charicters are the most likeable in the franchise & they all band together to do the smart thing. Overall, a great sequel.

Halloween 4 has the greatest opening in the series. Everytime you see it, you just know it's October!
I mean, come on, nothing beats the opening of Halloween 1978. That POV is legendary.

Most atmospheric intro ever.
Til this day, this has always been my go to Halloween movie...
Yep. Definitely one of my most watched.

I recently showed Part 4 to some friends and it was cool to see them just as shocked and horrified by the ending as I was when it came out.
This was the first Halloween I ever saw as a kid. Fell in love 🎃🔪
I started with Halloween 2 when I was 4, saw the original (and fell in love with it) when I was 7. Then, in 1988, Halloween 4 came along. I was 8. The thumb to the forehead did it for me. I've been a Michael Myers Stan ever since, and it's thanks to part 4
Perfect sequel hands down, thank you for revisiting it!
No problem. Thank YOU for watching!
10items orless it’s anything but perfect, it’s really poorly made in fact.
It was really good!
Such a good fuckin movie. My favorite horror of all time and the first one I ever saw on TV when I was a kid, scared the shit out of me. Great atmosphere, colors, theme music and kills..from the intro to the end..AWESOME!
Hell yeah. God I love this movie!!
Again.
Yeah I miss those days too man. Things seemed simpler. And this movie was HUGE for me back then.
Love your channel. It's nice to see other people that really enjoy this franchise. Anybody that knows me, knows that Michael rules above all
I'm watching it now. Great video drumdums👍giving it a second chance and the mask isn't that bad.
Another excellent review! This is a great sequel. Saw it in the theatre. Great characters, score, and Loomis is excellent. Love the scene where he gets picked up by the preacher. He’s like, “And people think I’m crazy”. Your reviews are spot on, great job!
Halloween 4 is my favorite in the Myers series (3 is my favorite overall) mainly due to it being the first one I saw all the way through as a kid.
Awesome. 4 is my favorite sequel.
He's not even in 3
Best Halloween intro love it really gets me in the Halloween spirit! Great review love this movie
Agreed. It really gets me in the Halloween spirit more than most of the sequels.
Awesome! I can't wait to scare kids on Halloween. And be sure to look for my cameo in Stranger Things Season 2.
Drumdums Cameo take 2? Alright! I love it. I'll keep an eye out for you... ..
Great movie that gave me nightmares too. One scene I remember that no one seems to mention is that scene where Loomis is picked up by that Preacher. That was a great scene. The way they banter and the lines Loomis delivers is just awesome
the crowd actually cheered when Rachel stirred after her fall, and jumped out of their seats when Rachel hit Michael with the fire extinguisher.
Agreed. I remember my crowd being so into it on the final showdown.
It's definitely one of the sequels with the most "signature" moments throughout. It constantly keeps me interested.
Halloween 4 was the first horror movie I've ever seen. It's a great movie.
Hell yeah you hit on so many great reasons why 4 is so amazing.
Agreed on Pleasance. His performance is chilling to the bone in this one. God I miss that man!
There's something about Michael going after a child that really unnerved me (in a good way)
No talk about the rooftop seen one of the best scenes in the movie 💗💗
I know haha. That scene is one of my favorites, and I did mention in in my original H4 review. Thanks for watching Seraea!
I agree
Great times.. Especially the thumb through the forehead.
Hell yeah!
Agree that Myers is the most pure evil out of all the portrayals
I like how in h5 intro though it was hard to see / breathe in mask and that river and rapids and danger was real if stunt man didn’t grab that net
Agreed. Love 5's intro.
That's awesome man. We must be close in age. I loved growing up in the 80s.
Drumdums we are pretty close in age I suppose, I'm 39, I loved growing up in the 80s myself. Such a fun decade
I think there's a lesson in both Annie's death in the original and Kelly's death in this and that's don't be a Haddonfield sheriff's daughter.
Agreed. Jamie was such an interesting character because she's having to deal with all this horror after having a rough life to begin with.
Very much agreed. The first one is one of the most effective horror films ever made. Thanks for watching!
I never even noticed that guy had Bucky written on his helmet. Lol. Don't try that Halloween shit with me!
Haha yep. And don't you even think about leaving.
Poor Bucky he started to stand up for himself and then Mike threw him into electric power plants turning the entire town pitch darkness.
And Michael tried that Halloween shit
Definitely. It's still chilling to the bone. I wish we could get a Halloween movie this scary again.
H4 is probably my favourite Halloween film after the first 2 - I love it that much
I love 4 so much.
This is my Absolute favorite Halloween film ever Danielle Harris rocked in this film and Ellie Cornell was Great not to forget Donald pleasence
Agreed. I think it's definitely on par quality wise with the original, and even scarier!
Great video.
What's really cool is that Tom Morga had done a portion of the filming and George just comes in and makes it hardly noticeable.
Like when Myers kills Brady. That was Tom Morga (Edited...it was Wilbur).
This movie is definitely in my top 3 Halloween films.
I knew Morga did the gas station scene and the Bucky scene, but I didn't know about the Brady kill. I thought that was Wilbur!
@@DrumdumsOfficial Now that I think of it. That may have been Wilbur. Im thinking of the shotgun scene with Kelly Meeker. That was Tom Morga.
@@DrumdumsOfficial From my understanding, Tom Morga did the Vincent drug scene and the school scene also.
Yeah I knew the shotgun was Morga.
@@DrumdumsOfficial Ya. Sorry for the mixup lol.
The opening is Amazing in this film, really set the Mood for what the film would Be!
Halloween 4. What can I say? The first time I watched it I was captivated from beginning to end, and it stayed in my mind for weeks afterward… I never expected that of the fourth film, in any franchise…
I had the same reaction.
I love the beginning. So gets u in the hoilday sprit. Love it
The ending of this movie reminded me of the end of Friday the 13th Part V when Tommy holds up the knife & wearing the Jason Hockey Mask
your review made me want to watch this movie I'm not a big Michael Myers fan I'm into Jason having the same name and all lol but the way u talked about it made it sound fun
Oh Halloween 4 is one of the best slasher flicks out there.
best intro for his explosive comeback..my favorite
Agreed. It's really atmospheric.
They filmed the paramedic ambulance scene West 12th st. Ogden Utah 84404. I love 5 min from there and remember when they were shooting this film there. I've loved this franchise since I was 4 or 5 years old.
That's so awesome.
Great review Lee. Halloween 4 was always one my favorite horror sequels, and in my opinion, it's one of the best Halloween films. Only thing that sucks is how next film fucked up great opportunity for another good sequel, possibly with Jamie as villain.
Yep. 5 was such a big letdown. They could have really gave us something special too.
I like when Michael is sitting in the rocking chair and then gets up with that silly mask on
But...he's wearing "his" mask.
Lmao
i remember the crowd cheered when rachel hit michael with the car and he fell way back. grand slam.
Same here. It was such a great theater experience!
Awesome bro I hope it clicks with you this time like it always has with me. What are your top 3 out of the series?
Damn thank you Paul. This feels like so long ago haha.
Another wonderful Revisited reviews. Especially timely in October. Thanks DumDrums!!!
Thank YOU!
You knew I was bound to comment Lee!!! Yes Halloween 4 is a big reason we even have all the movies after in the franchise...but I'm more interested in Halloween 3 VHS review!!! Awesome work Lee... your the man!!! 💀🎃
I'm looking forward to the VHS review as well man!
I only have just recently discovered your channel and I have to say this is an insightful and well dictated review. I know this may sound stereotypical but the southern accent adds a bit of charm as well. Keep up the good work!.
shadowofthestatue Thank you!
My FAVORITE Halloween Movie, I wouldn't say better than thee Original as a Sequel but as a Stand-Alone movie I would say yes.
Oh ok thanks for clearing that up man. That was such a great story and I had to share it.
Drumdums I’m glad you did. It’s one of my favorite movies
. . . This video, and this channel . . . HIGHLY UNDERRATED . . .
Thank you very much!!🙏
I am 42 and grew up watching Halloween 1 and 2, i was 5 when 8 saw boys and pieces of Halloween from my mom watching it, i would eventually watch it in full and by the time I was 13, Halloween 4 comes out and man was i excited, it couldn't have been R rated cause my friend and i got in to watch it, was a great movie loved it, to me i consider Halloween 1,2, 4 the only Canon and good Halloween movies i have them all and love boys and pieces from them but it's 1, 2 and 4, now with the new 2018 coming i know we are going to be happy i can't wait, even though our fav sequels are being forgotten, that's ok there's plenty of room for a new re imagining especially when Mr Carpenter is directly involved, i love all the movies we and nothing beats watching them this time of year
Mike Joseph Thanks for sharing Mike. I’m 43 and this was a prime era to grow up in. All of the big 3 icons had movies coming out.
Hey man, love your videos! Would really love to hear a review about a real Camp slasher: Madman! Warm greetings all the way from Sweden
k1mtheswede I’ve actually been planning on doing one for madman.
How about The Burning, my personal favorite with a badass theme.
I also like the Alford Hitchcock mirror trick in the gas station that was nice
Yeah that scene is awesome.
Awesome review!!! This is for sure one of the best reviews for this movie. I love this movie and It's tied with the first for my favorite.
Sgt. Rock Thanks man!!
My first Halloween on the big screen when I was 10 years old. Love this movie sooo much. Ending scared the shit outta me. Lol
Obviously a little late here but i just found your channel and have been watching your Halloween revisited videos. I always love Brady and Rachel's characters. Rachel is a great final girl while Brady was an asshole who turned into a good guy who was brave and died valiantly.
Completely agree. 4 has better characters than the first. I said it! Thank you Colton.
Drumdums completely agree with that
Halloween 4 does fall back into the template of the first film but that's a good thing about it. The charicters are the most likeable in the franchise & they all band together to do the smart thing. Overall, a great sequel.
You made this sound like a religious experience. That’s awesome you earned a sub.
One of my favorite movies ever
Same. This movie changed my life.
Sick snake t-shirt great man
Thank you!!
I think Escape From New York would be a great revisited video 👌👌
Halloween 4 - best movie ending I've ever seen!!!
Couldn't agree more.
I love Halloween 4 too. My favorite after Parts 1 and 2. Most memorable part is when Michael tossed the guy knto the electrical transformers.
Ah the Bucky scene. Bliss.
This is definitely one of the better sequels in the franchise, my third favorite sequel in the franchise behind Halloween 6 and Halloween 3
dude, i friggin LOVE the Snake Plisskin shirt. much respect for the John Carpenter, Donald Pleasance
and Kurt Russell love.
have you done reviews for the "Escape" movies?
No not yet but they are coming. Thank you!
@@DrumdumsOfficial thank you! i looked through your back log and didn't see any. how ever, Snake Plisskin is my favourite 80's Movie character! I would LOVE to see your take on those movies. the first being a more serious movie, and L.A. being more of a satire of action movies of the time. also, thank you for taking the time to respond, i know you must get a lot of comments, so thank you for taking the time to make me feel special. :D you rock dude!
