An employee joins a company in September and gets a joining bonus (minus the TDS).
He leaves in Feb and returns the joining bonus in full, including the amount deducted as TDS.
All transactions were in the same financial year.
What is tax liability of employee? Does he get refund of TDS which he paid back to the employer.

If the company is paying me appreciation bonus for working in the company for 3yrs. For payment of bonus the company is keeping a clause that i cannot resign within 1 yr from the date of receiving this bonus otherwise ill have to pay this amount back. Bonus payment will only be done if i accept this clause. Will this be enforceable if i resign within 1 year and don't want to pay this amount back. Please help.

    Hi Mam,
I have a question on this video.
If I put down the resignation but the company didn't gave me notice period to server. Even though I had 2 months of notice to server, the company deleted my account the next day and asked for laptop back etc. Am I still eligible to return the joining bonus or I can also put a question ahead of why i didn't got the notice period.

I think ma'am you must know the IPC or labour laws in India because all companies come under the IPC or labour laws in India they are not out of the box. It looks like you don't know about the labour laws in India any company can not force you to work for 1 year to 2 years if things are not going good. if you come up with legal them it comes under bounded labour which is totally illegal even how much company documents it totally fails when it comes to court. nothing is top of the court.

Thanks for the update but if you are signing something then you should not obey that intentionally

@@CareerChrome That is why you need to know the rule even if you are signing something but it involves the bounded labour laws then in this case whatever doc u are signing will be null and void. Could you go and check? just become a RUclips so you can not be denied the law. forget to sign something if things are not good then you can't say you need to continue for one year if u said this statement it comes under the bounded labour laws and in this case, you can not force anyone to continue the job. you tell me what type of work category and in which category Pvt Ltd and such guidelines are there
State Gov + Centre gov + Include the labour laws rules. Every state's own rules and regulations.
If you are not capable try to accept it not even whatever info you are providing it's also misguiding. any can complain it you will be trouble.

Resignation is just intimation. Your tenure starts from DOJ.
