I have regular locs but I want to have them taken out and get sister lots. I guess my question is are sister locks expensive to get and are they hard to maintain a.d expensive to maintain.

Your locs are super beautiful. One of the best of all times. I have fine low density hair so mine is more cotton candy like they want to float up. I am hoping as the get longer they will lay down all the time. I may even add extensions to keep them flat. I am trying to not be jealous. Mines are uniquely me. I wish i had dome it 10, 20 uears ago. I tried but they would just unwind until i discovered interlocking. Saved my hair. My afro was getting so long and as i aged my hair would just shed. So this saved my hair from balding like all the women in my family. So yeah i wish i had thicker hair but at this juncture I'm just glad to have hairand it's getting thicker and fuller. Thanks for sharing.
Your hair looks great! Your initial videos of your install inspired me. My texture is similar to yours, so you gave me an idea of what my locs would look like. My Microlocs were installed 9/13/22 and I absolutely love them! My hair has grown so much and I am enjoying every part of this journey.

Hey, hey CeCe! Your hair is beautiful. Girrrl, I do my own reties, and I have 4 knots😫 I knew exactly when it happened but couldn't fix it. I'll be 3 year in March. Once my locs grow out a bit more, im gonna cut them even and hopefully the knots will be in the cut. I have 361 micros and this has been a great journey for my hair.

Hi, love watching your loc journey videos. Your sharing of your emotions and overcoming your initial discomfort with your locs is a big help for other people who go through similar issues. Regarding the knots, have you tried evening it out with rhe tiny crochet hook method? Seems like that works well for people with bunching so it could work for your knot.

Yes, I know the feeling. I attempted to interlock with that particular tool and got my first knot.😮💨I have braidlocs, so I was able to take my one braid down and redo it. Just one though😀I'm changing tools. Your locs looked beautiful from start up until now.

You probably should try crotchet over the knotted part it will integrate in the loc and not be as bulky
I have no idea how to do that, will you please explain it? I really want to try it. 😩
You could try interlocking the knot to make it lay flatter on the strand. You could use a small interloc tool.
Someone else told me that, I tried but was unsuccessful. ☹️ probably because I don't know what I'm doing.

It look good. Try retwisting in between reties. Just take your time.
Ok, that's a new idea, I did it for the one I put a knot in and it was ok. I may have to try that. I'm learning to take my time. I use to want to really rush and I've learned it doesn't work out very well for me. Thank you for the suggestion! 😁

Alot of my ends still haven't closed! I must admit that I have either twisted or braided them closed! 🤷🏽♀️
All mines are pretty much closed but I miss when they weren't, I liked the curls I had. I think the coloring helped closed them 🤔
Your locs look gorgeous but did you you pull your edges back or are you wearing hair up too tight?
I damaged my edges well before I had my sisterlocs from tension 😫 braids, faux Locs and micro braids. I didn't know any better at the time.

My edges are just not there help sisters 😢the hair is too fine so the love don’t hold and the hair breaks!
I use to really want my Locs to be closer to my hairline but I've concluded the same thing and just accepted it. 🙃 I will always have baby hairs.
