The Walther PPK and Smith and Wesson Model 29 are highly associated with 007 and Dirty Harry respectively. Making them instantly iconic by association. The Beretta 92 series are essentially the definitive action hero movie gun. I think the Colt Single Action Army is actually the most used gun in movie history and the most iconic handgun of all time. Glad to see it here. I’d say the Thompson and Uzi series are the most iconic submachine guns in movies and all time. The M60 is the most iconic belt-fed machine gun in movies. Especially because of the Rambo series. Cheater picks like the AR and AK rifles, 1911 and Glock pistols are of course all over movies since they are incredibly famous in real life to this day.
I don't know how many parts you're planning for iconic movie guns (there are so many), but the SPAS-12 deserves a spot. Another candidate is the Tommy gun. It is instantly recognizable in any prohibition-era gangster flick. I assume the PPK will make part 2. I will _almost_ disagree with the comments calling for the M9/92. It's iconic, so I agree with its inclusion, but it's iconic for its ubiquity. It mostly serves the role of "generic pistol" and is seldom discussed by the characters. edit to add the Steyr AUG. That's the "bad guy gun" I remember from Die Hard more than the MP5.
I don't know, I feel like the 92 series has a certain charm and screen presence that isn't quite captured by say, a bone-stock Glock 17 or 19 being used by a protagonist.
For part two I hope you consider the Thompson Submachine Gun. Think of all the gangster films using the drum magazine and all the WW2 movies with stick mags. The gun is historical as heck and a movie icon.
That was one of my favorite movies as a kid, and it also turned me onto the Schofield. Red Dead Redemption also contributed to my desire to own one. Uberti makes a clone that I long for, but they’re over $1,200 ☠️ I’ll get one someday
Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven took “The Kid’s” Schofields in to town to avenge Ned’s death. I would have carried a Merwin Hulbert top break revolver if I’d have had my druthers.
If I didn't know any better, I think I may have heard either the theme song to the nutcracker or maybe twinkle twinkle little star on those steel targets... That's impressive!!!
My favorites are: -Walther PPK (James Bond and pretty much any Bond parody like Austin Powers, Johnny English and Archer) -SPAS 12 (Jurassic Park, Terminator, Snatch, many GTA games, etc.) -STG44 (many WW2 movies, such as Fury,as well as The Empire Strikes Back modified as a sci fi gun) -HS Produkt VHS2 (Hobbs & Shaw and a few other newer movies) -Colt Peacemaker (pretty much every western) -Winchester 1973 (same as above, notable for having a movie Winchester 73 made about it) -Beretta 92 (Die Hard, Lethal Weapon and a bunch of other 80s, 90s and 2000s action movies) -Uzi (commonly used by gangsters in 80s and 90s movies and TV shows) -MP5 (commonly used by the SWAT teams in 80s, 90s and 2000s movies and TV shows) -M16A1 (pretty much every Vietnam war movie)

I was thinking of Clint Eastwood's Colt Walker (or whatever amalgamation that revolver was,) from _The Man With No Name_ series. That is certainly an iconic pistol from film.
I'm happy for you that you get to buy/test so many guns and review them all for us, just wish you would include more "budget' guns that most of us are limited to. I'm on disability and I save for over a year to afford a $350 gun and a single box of ammo to run through it. I haven't shot a thousand rounds of any caliber in the last 20 years! But I guess watching someone get to enjoy the high dollar stuff appeals to some, just not me.Of course, there is only one free range in the area, 25 miles away, state owned and very strict. NO rapid fire, NO drawing from a holster, and no picking up your brass! The next closest free range is 117 miles away, also owned by the state! There is one range, private membership, about 20 miles away, but membership is $1k a year! Oh, and be glad prices in Iowa are that affordable, the same guns here in NE Indiana are around $100 more per gun...
While it's in practically every old WWII movie, the first thing I ever saw my favorite pistol in was the TV series The Untouchables. It was carried by none other than Elliot Ness himself, and that would be the old reliable 1911 Government.
Sure, the MP5 was in a lot of action movies, but the Colt Single Action Army was in practically EVERY SINGLE WESTERN. And Die Hard also had a Steyr AUG, which is a pretty cool gun.
You should do one of these for iconic video game guns lol. Sawn off double barrel shotgun, Kriss Vector, P90, SCAR, FAL, 1911, Thompson machine gun, dozens of iconic guns
As a bigtime Desert Eagle enthusiast I'd like to mention: 1: You missed a caliber. They also come in 429DE. 2: When using "revolver" cartridges, i.e. .357MAG and .44MAG you should make sure they're pretty "hot" load cartridges so they have enough power to cycle properly and consistently. Also, although it applies with all variants and especially the 50AE, grip and handling is one of the most important aspects of firing that monster. Reliability is 95% of the time affected by underpowered ammunition or poor handling. It's gas operated. It isn't your grandpa's 1911.
Being a kid from the 80's, my two go-to movie guns were James Bond's Walther PPK from (cap gun), and when I was old enough (12) an M-16 (BB gun). This was back when toy guns weren't required to have orange tips and looked authentic.
How about "The Getaway" (the original with Steve McQueen) where he's rocking a 1911 and a High Standard pump. Cool movie! Also Robert Blake in the movie "Electra Glide in Blue" where he's carrying a Python. Yeah I'm showing my age but whatever.
I have the Uberti 10mm single action. It has a ported barrel. It is surprisingly accurate for a 10mm revolver. Loud as hell but not a whole lot of kick.
Pretty much every hitman movie ever made uses, and many particularly emphasize , i.e. in 'Assassins' , the classic Ruger Mark .22. It's the first one that popped into my head when I saw this video's title. Awesome vid, though.... Great job as always.

Bought a 44 barrel kit for it and love it way more than any other magnum revolvers I’ve ever owned. I haven’t had any malfunctions either. I expected it to be a mess. One of the coolest but not well known guns that's in a lot of movies is the Vektor CP1. It was in all of the Hunger Games and Transporter movies. Very futuristic. I've had one since the 90s. Futuristic looking with a H&K P7 type operating system.
More than likely won't make the list, but my favorite movie gun/ Bucket list gun is the Wildey Survivor chambered in 475 Wildey Magnum. Used by Charles Bronson in Death Wish 3.
