Hey Phil, I wish there was a video I could say explained it all to me but there isn’t - I am quite analytical and it took me quite some time to understand each element. I would say first find some info that clear explains the drone - frame, flight controller, ESC, video transmitter, receiver, transmitter (controller), goggles. I think it’s important to know that you won’t be buying one drone to last forever, it’s a journey of commitment because you WILL crash and you WILL have to do repairs and replace things. If you’ve made peace with the expense buy a nice controller and buy LiftOff on the Steam gaming website, you can plug your controller into your computer and start learning how to fly. While you’re learning you can start shopping for goggles and a nice drone (I would recommend a nice freestyle drone).

@@adinwalls Thanks for the feedback, what transmitter would you recommend? I agree going via the sim way to start off with would be more sensible
Hey man. There are a lot of good budget options. Check Radiomaster out. They seem to have that happy medium between function, form and price.
I went for the Cobra S box goggle. Just really good value.
