Thank you. Yes it flies well. These DarwinFPV motors are actually very good in the end. Tested it with my new Li-ion battery and it is doing a solid 20 mins but with no HD cam

For this long range build the motors are actually great but i can understand them possibly not performing well on a freestyler

Hey man thank you. Ya the baby ape is still with me. I do think 3s tends to overload the motors, because I have had to replace a few but they are so cheap anyway. I think a long term review is a great idea.

Hey man, it's a silicon protector on the unused antenna because I'm using an ELRS module. On my goggles I'm using a patch and stubby antenna.

Hey man, my frame us very similar to the flywoo (just a cheaper one). Ardupilot seems like a fun way to build.

I have the cobra s the diversity receiver but not steadyview. It's pretty good though.

Hey man. I used the runcam thumb mount for my V1 but there are actually plenty of mounts for the v2 you just need to search through all the 3d printing websites.

I also have the baby ape 2 and that has an 800 watt vtx and does great just have to upgrade camera

Your video signal? You're either struggling with wrong settings in Betaflight (make sure you're not set to 25mw) or your VTx is soldered correctly or there's something wrong with your antenna.

@@flippingfpv Every experiment on this subject appears to contradict the theory that ducted fans improve trust. Turbo prop engines exist for this very resson. Turbo fans are for the perpose of delivering more oxygen to the combustion chamber not efficiency of the fan blades.

@@Hotwire_RCTrixIts called fluid dynamics buddy, proper ducts do in fact direct the air flow straight down vs the more scattered fliw with open props. This does in fact increase the amount of thrust created by the motors, not at all like a turbofan you are describing.

Hey yes! Exactly. And all this about digital being cheap now is also nonsense. A digital equivalent is still double the price. So I'm with digital for a while longer I think.

No definitely not. I know alot of videos show it doing that but it will (a) drop your battery life to a very low time and (b) will put alot of stress on this budget quadcopter.

Yes you can't buy them new anymore (you might find old stock on amazon) but they are great for guys who are still flying analog and want good footage.

Thank you. Note: these motors are cheap and the screws came undone and I burnt two of them out after they nearly fell off. Thank goodness I shrink wrapped the cables onto the arms. I have ordered more and getting some loctite!

Hey sorry I have been neglecting this channel. Did you come right. I bought some 3s 650mah batteries (the long ones). I also upgraded the vtx and the antenna which gave me better range along with switching to elrs. I can get about 800m range with it which is brilliant for me. I am planning a 4 inch build to get 1-2km range eventually.
