Just a thought. So while people in canada spend 50 thousands or more for example at a Canadian university..to get a bachelor of nursing degree for example
However for a nurse coming from a international school which could be much less for a international nurse cost and quality of education ..
Is it fair that they may only have to take a 1 year course then be a credited as a Rn in canada ?
.. if they do it for nurses..then social workers will be next and they will keep on moving down the line to different career paths to do this..
So much for my daughters 40 grand in debt to get her degree in her field .
We would have been smarter to send her to another country the Phillipines for example and bring her back in 2 years . Her education may not be as good as in Canada. But then 1 year of schooling as the government does now to give her equilivances that other people in canada may have done a 2 year community College course in Rn or Rpn then transfer off to university to get the bachelor in nursing degree..
This day and age there are many ways to get your community College diploma or university degree then just going to the facility daily.. there is online education which is a huge part of colleges and universities today for people to access and work while doing this.
Alot of community colleges across Canada have agreed partnerships with universities across Canada for people who have studied in canada to get transfer credits towards completing a bachelor degree in many fields of work canada wide.
    Just a thought..
