Hey. We had a bigger version of this some years ago on a landscaping project. The wide bucketm high running speed and a laser system mounted on the boom made a days work into a 2 hour job. Just the right combination for landscaping.
The interesting thing about Euro equipment is that its designed for a different space area. I was watching a video about a US designer in the UK & France sharing industry ideas. Space requirements for equipment in Europe is small compared to what we have in the US. Not better - just different. So their designs work differently and we think of them different but - we can benefit from those here. They cant necessarily from ours there. Always interesting to see how someone else does things.
They make some very neat products, obviously not for everyone, but I think these really fit the bill for landscape work where lots of attachments or needs exist that can be fairly well accommodated with just the one machine. My buddy's place started to carry them and he sold a few right away.
Alright - right off the bat . . .Lets Swing! Have got to say this piece of equipment is a game changer for some contractor who needs a different piece for his type of work. Two types in one.

Europe make some great machines with some great engineering advantages, I run avant loaders and they are miles ahead compared to the old way of thinking with skid steers. 😉

Looks like a cool machine. I feel these video’s didn’t really show it’s full potential. It would have been good to see you operate it and get your thoughts comparing it to an excavator when used as an excavator and same for skid steer. It would be good to see how productive it could be compared to both aswel. This video makes me aware that such machines exists but now I’ll go searching for other videos to get a better understanding of it and it’s capabilities
A company called OWS (Oil Well Supply) has John Deere loaders that have the front arm swing on a wheel loader plus a set of track wheels as they use them for rail work.
Diggajob here in Queensland Australia we run the 6MCR & 8MCR exclusive and will never go back to the old way , these machines are the pointy end of the earthmoving industry
The thing that always gets me about these salesmen over European equipment is. “Oh they’ve been in service for decades over in Europe.” I’ve spent A LOT of time in Europe, and have never seen half of this stuff.
Stan, from your enormous experiences in operating different equipment and construction, will you purchase one if you need to replace both a skid steer(loader) and a mini excavator?
I ran a mecalec 6mcr for a little over a year I absolutely loved the machine I named her mecala other than a couple little dinky electrical problems and 1 problem with the emissions system but other than that I absolutely loved the machine had loads of power and has ridiculous track speed

These mecalac excavators are absolute beast , you get used to that it will run rings round your other stuff , the wheel version are the mutts nuts
That looks awesome. Swing for the fence.
Very unique machinery. 2 toys for 1. Kinda a hefty price tag but for 2 machines with each a purpose it might be doable for some businesses. Would have been very useful for me 30 yrs ago when i did projects back then. I wonder what the parts channel is like along with timeline for getting them & servicing them. Swing away Stan !!!
Yeah I wish I had something like this back when I started too
More like 3 in 1 with the telehandler feature that can also lower a load 10' below grade.
Mecalac is greater than god. It’s such a awesome machine. You can run a forestry attachment on the boom and just destroy trees and shrubs. Especially in uneven surfaces, ditches etc, it’s all it’s cracked up to be
So fricken cool
@@Dirtmonkey where was that unit for sale at. We have been looking for one
Be awesome to see that in action. Thank you for the video
Thanks for tuning in
And you leave us hanging lol looking forward to the next one can’t wait
I won't leave you hanging long. the next one is Wednesday👊
Everything about this machine is efficient in every way compact, speed, power, no matter the scenario this will Out perform ALL
Pretty neat lil thing 😁
Cool machine, thanks for showcasing it Stan.
No problem 👍
I absolutely love my 6MCR. 3 machines in one
Do you use it professionally? In your opinion would a 9MWR would be a good investment for an owner operator kind of small business?
@@jackjmaheriii My take on the Mecalac design is they are very capable machines no matter the implementation. Well executed functionality, good power and nicely balanced machine for its size/weight class.
Cool looking pieces of equipment.
Very cool
Ill be back to see the 5k lift test FOR SURE Stan 👌🏻
Cool beans 👊
Wow Stan you get to play with all the toys I love it yes I want to see the loader great video as always please keep them coming there appreciated thanks your friend Rocco from Connecticut 👌👍👌💪👾✊🤟😉🖐
thats dandy stan. of course we want to see all the new toys ! so to speak. thats why we watch you :)
really annoying that company's like this don't ever put MSRPs or base model cost.
I asked and it was around $140g depending on how you spec it out
About 125k last time I looked about a year ago.
Has this changed inside much over the last 5-6 years do you know? Wondering if all these controls and buttons will be the same
Pretty cool!
Spin me right round baby, right round!
😊👍
can you tilt the bucket on to an angle or that requires an additional attachment?
Hey Stanley, again Nice narration and description of that machine!
My opinion, is that machine seems very versatile and deserves a chance to strut its stuff in the dirt!
Personally I would go fur the 6ton, as the 8t seems little too hefty!?
I have a 6tBobcat and it’s a great operating and transporting size…Just saying 👏continued success to you Stanley
Agreed. It may be a bit hefty but sometimes that's necessary too. Thanks for the support man
CAT Skid Steer and Track Loaders are made in North Carolina
yep- I just wanted to show that NOT everything Cat has is made in the USA
Oh my goodness I see so many potential possibilities with this machine you could do so much oh my gosh thank you for the video!
You bet!
Europe make some great machines with some great engineering advantages, I run avant loaders and they are miles ahead compared to the old way of thinking with skid steers. 😉
I love my italian Cast loader for sure. Its one of my favorite pieces of equipment ever.
Never seen one of these in person but I love the idea of one and if I was in that market for a digger I’d buy one of them tbh , I’m hoping they make a bigger one someday tho like something to do a nice size digger but also replace a pay loader like a cat 930 g size loader
Oh that would be sweet, maybe one day
Interesting
👊👍 My thoughts as well
What a great video, I love watching these kind of videos. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the tour. I now have another option.
Happy to help 👊
Looks like a cool machine. I feel these video’s didn’t really show it’s full potential. It would have been good to see you operate it and get your thoughts comparing it to an excavator when used as an excavator and same for skid steer. It would be good to see how productive it could be compared to both aswel. This video makes me aware that such machines exists but now I’ll go searching for other videos to get a better understanding of it and it’s capabilities
A company called OWS (Oil Well Supply) has John Deere loaders that have the front arm swing on a wheel loader plus a set of track wheels as they use them for rail work.
V-belt and Son just bought one. They look awesome!
Looks like a fantastic machine 😊 only need to buy one to do everything you wanna do
Its a jack of all trades
Stan, from your enormous experiences in operating different equipment and construction, will you purchase one if you need to replace both a skid steer(loader) and a mini excavator?
How about a standard Front End Loader Backhoe?
Impressive Stan! On point about warranty issues!
Heard something about Saws?
🙏Thank you- I haven't heard anything about saws
Jcb has a backhoe skid steer
I ran a mecalec 6mcr for a little over a year I absolutely loved the machine I named her mecala other than a couple little dinky electrical problems and 1 problem with the emissions system but other than that I absolutely loved the machine had loads of power and has ridiculous track speed
We also had a wheeled 7 mwr but I hated that machine because it was super unstable
Their is another guy that ran a mecalac like this and hated it so its good to get another viewpoint. Thanks
Looks like it would be a nice for doing your walls in those tight back yards.
Great idea
