This rakdos meta is like the Eldrazi winter all over again. Can I just see one game without Fable, bankbuster and Sheoldred?

Fabled is likely going to be banned in standard after this PT. Bankbuster is a good, fair card that any deck can use. Sheoldred is very good, but easily dealt with in the format. Fabled however is a broken card and I won't be sad to see it go.

G1: is it really the best play for David to go after the Chandra instead of Herd Migration? Knowing that Duress will come and he will have to topdeck or be dead? Granted, if he goes for Herd Migration, Nathan could have a good answer fot that too, but isn't that possibility still smaller than finding a good topdeck?

Maybe he saw something we didn't because to me it seems way better to do it as you said.

It’s the fear of Chandra and Invoke Despair. The thing is, if his opponent has invoke despair, he’s likely dead anyways, even if he kills Chandra. So it was definitely wrong to not cast it there. Classic example of playing “not to lose” instead of playing “to win”

@@aidanm.655 Yeah, the big word being IF. If he has Invoke Despair, whereas we know there was a Duress there. You're all right, you want to cast Migration 100% of the time. Kinda blown away the announcers didn't make a bigger deal about that.

8:25 after rewatching I never thought of how terribly Olsen played here. He runs out a Invasion for no reason and plays his only land to cycle the top card of his deck leaving his herd migration to get picked instead of saying “Plains go.” Then in response to Duress he could’ve discarded his Herd to gain 3 life and after the duress cycled his land for an extra card. Under no reason should you just play cards to use your mana if you have better outs. Utterly beginner and terrible move.

David and Autumn both each went 6-1 against Rakdos at this event. Unfortunately for them, their 1 loss each both came in the semifinals.
