I love having these longer videos on in the background while I redo my island- it makes everything go by so much faster. Pro tip for anyone who is redecorating their islands too- trees and weeds are super helpful. With my island, I’m using cedar trees to get a forest-y feel to it, and I also use the regular weeds and the glow weeds to help make a trail.
Wait I’m new-ish to animal crossing and dont watch a lot of other streams/am a part of communities about it. Can you explain more about how you use weeds for trails? I’m dumb, I’m sorry.

This is the absolute perfect video for today. I’ve been struggling with my mental health more than I ever have or thought I would. In my current state of life, I really do only find peace in three things; Animal Crossing, RUclips, and sleeping. I work every day except for Sundays, and I always wake up a few hours early to fit in some AC before and while I get ready for the long day ahead. Hopefully there’s something I can put on that I hadn’t watched 100 times already. Which is also why it’s so exciting watching one of my fav youtubers play my fav game for the first time. And these lengthy videos are exactly what I need to fill up time and have something calming on to dull the silence. I’m sure this is all very rambly, but thank you Julien! Your island is looking sick, I can’t wait to see what’s next. 💛 PS: when my island is done you should come see it, i swear it’s cool 😏 awh hell yeah 😩 dink fam 😎 you know 🥸
It doesn't have an effect on how fast a villager asks to move out, it does have an effect on which one asks, but the effect is so minimal it's basically non existent if you look at the formula. There is pretty much nothing reliable enough to manipulate the odds, so you are better off hoping for a good campsite villager and scanning amiibos. Unlike NL, NH villagers take a long ass time to ask to move out, so having an amiibo is almost a necessity if you want to get rid of a villager you hate without time traveling.

I had no inspiration or motivation to do anything and this motivated me to sit down and start making changes to get those stupid 3 stars. At some point you are gonna need a cliffside pond for collecting fish. But you can do that at any point if this is long term. Just consider when changing your island it can effect seasonal collections. That's the beauty and the power of the Nook side!

I've even placed buildings and then moved them again just to destroy large chunks of flower patches. ughhhh

Julien talking about blue roses as holy grail, I bred them so much , I sold them 100’s to timmy because I have too many. If you want some Julien , I can give you two to start breeding them. It’s a real climb for them I have soooo many.

you can sell the lost items! you just have to sell directly to timmy & tommy instead of using the drop off box ^o^ they’ll throw it away for you if you sell some other items with it

The blue rose plant sells for 1000 bells but so do the flowers. I have a field of blue roses and make 300k bells every couple days.
