Krieg steed is a space marine of horses. Genetic manipulation, selective breeding and cybernetics have made the real beasts. Claws for hooves, armoured gasmask and really aggressive nature. It propably could kill a bear.
@@awalkingfire2176 damn that's a lot of force behind that charge then, considering how much a space/chaos marine weighs...and I guess their skin is armor in itself, genetically engineered to be super tough if it can withstand charging a chaos marine full speed and stagger something that weighs 2 tons.

The most infuriating part is that to the bitter end the traitors never accepted culpability for their planet’s destruction. They hated the Imperium for destroying them and never accepted that it was their own damn fault for biting the hand that fed them. I wonder what would have happened if the loyalists didn’t use the nukes and lost. For sure Krieg would have collapsed due to leaving the Imperium that was entirely responsible for Krieg’s prosperty as Krieg would have absolutely no trade, no interstellar travel (only Imperial controlled ships have Warp drives, System Defense Forces do not and all interstellar non-military ships are either private or controlled by Imperial fanatics), and no way to defend themselves from space horrors that laugh at their defenses. They’d have been fucked anyway and it’d have been hilarious. Imagine the citizens cheering at leaving the Imperium and then their economy immediately collapsing to nothing and with zero way to maintain their lifestyle. Turning into a planet-wide equivalent of an Underhive within a few years or less.
The Death Korps sent to fight in the Orphean War were given tons of plasma guns. Implied to have replaced their lasguns. The lore regarding that footnote never went anywhere as far as I know but it’s pretty hilarious and definitely a good idea.
Fun Fact: Most if not all of the Krieg forces are between the ages of 16-25. If you ever meet a Krieger in their 30s, its probably the last thing you ever see. Legends speak of a handful of super depressed Shocktroopers in their early 40s but it hasn't been confirmed. Probably one of the single most grim aspects of the entire setting. ALSO! I would thoroughly recommend checking out Leutin09's series on the Assassins. Also, Baldermort's videos are all entirely sublime.

The Imperium is the incarnation of order in a galaxy slowly being overrun by chaos, and we mean order in the worst most oppressive way possible.

there is a some wrong information in the video they are reacting to. Krieg was given the vitawombs by the administratum after they won their civil war, they did not use them during it. And Vraks was started by an assassination attempt on the cardinal who then declared independence. He also didn't really fortify Vraks, Vraks was already fortified because it was an armoury world.
Read the book Krieg, The Adeptus Mechanicus attached to Colonel Jurten pressed the colonel to start using vitae wombs for bolstering troop numbers. This was in the early stages of the 500 year civil war after the nuclear purging.
I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but you can actually use this thing called "pause" (crazy right? like what's that) to make the video you're watching stop while you're talking to each other and then when you're ready to continue, the video continues from where you left off, you don't even have to like remember the timestamp or anything.
