This was one of the best videos I've ever watched, especially because I would love to travel to many countries, and Switzerland is one of them. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Been to Switzerland many times/ My favorite place to stay is the Baren Hotel in Wilderswil, up the valley from Interlaken. It's in the heart of the Jungfrau close to Lake Interlaken and the scenic peaks of the Jungfrau. Always beautiful full of friendly people and there's a cow barn around the corner where they let me watch them milk the cows. There's even the ruins of a castle a short walk away.
I went to switzerland many times mainly to Berner Oberland, Lake Geneva, and Zermatt. I don't know that there are much more places to explore. This video shows lots of new places to visit
@@RyanShirley I can recommend to travel from Biel/ Bienne to Murten/ Morat through the villages, that's one of my absolute favourite routes. It's so picturesque. The village Vevey, and also Neuchatel are beautiful places, there's a prehistoric museum at lac (lake) Neuchatel, I highly recommend visiting. It's absolutely marvellous to learn about our prehistoric ancestors. When I go there, I prefer to go in August, once I had the huge museum basically to myself and it's directly at the beach, it's absolutely stunningly beautiful there AND you learn A LOT 😍. Then there's the beautiful route between Basel/ Bale over a small mountain pass - the Passwang - first after Basel you travel through the villages or towns Zwingen and Laufen (beautiful!), you ascend onto the rather small pass (for Switzerland) and then you descend into the canton of Solothurn, or continue to Biel/ Bienne. There's a PS game we used to play "Deliverance" it's time and location is Bohemia about 14 hundred, but the travel through Zwingen and then over the Passwang always takes me right into the Middle Age, it's stunning. Lucerne was missing on your list as well, btw 😘. A MUST! visit is the Ballenberg museum in Brienz between Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken basically. It's a huge open-air museum you will need a full day minimum to explore and cherish and love. I recommend going in from the East entrance Brienzwiler. If you then travel from Brienz along the beautiful lakes Brienzer See and Thuner See, you will come across a wonderful little town called "Spiez". You'll find on the uphill side of the town beautiful little restaurants where you can eat fresh "Fischknusperli", that's deliciously fried local fish filet, and at the same time enjoy a stunning view with the mountains in the background and the turquoise water of the lake Thun beneath. I should go out more often.....
@@RyanShirley I was already wondering...top 25 of Switzerland and Lugano not included? Lugano and the surrounding area (Locarno, Gandria, Morcote) is amazing. If you want to go there, I'd suggest being there around August 1st (national holiday). From a few weeks before that and the week after there are many things to do and see (street festival, music, sports etc.) and on the night of the 1st of August a great firework above the lake.

Zermatt really is amazing! Do you have a favorite hike there?
I understood almost nothing on this video, but I enjoyed it! I'm learning English, in fact I have a B1 level, but I am aware that I have to improve more my level, in especial listening. This was one of the best videos I've ever watched, especially because I would love to travel to many countries, and Switzerland is one of them. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Just came back from grindelwald. Stunning beauty, heaven on earth. Too short a stay. Will be back to explore for sure. Hopefully soon.
Grindelwald is the best!!
Totally agree ... Switzerland is such a beautiful country ... absolutely amazing ...
Greetings from Singapore ...
Pant, pant, pant....I wanna go! Beautiful tour. Many thanks!
Thanks so much Bill!
awesome video guide man. I am putting Switzerland on my must-see list. Tnx!
Thanks so much Lars! It’ll change your life
Bro that was one of the coolest videos I have ever seen, I'm heading to Switzerland in 3 weeks and it definitely helped me, thanks!!
I’m jealous your going there! You’re going to have a incredible time
Been to Switzerland many times/ My favorite place to stay is the Baren Hotel in Wilderswil, up the valley from Interlaken. It's in the heart of the Jungfrau close to Lake Interlaken and the scenic peaks of the Jungfrau. Always beautiful full of friendly people and there's a cow barn around the corner where they let me watch them milk the cows. There's even the ruins of a castle a short walk away.
Just looked it up, it looks like a great place to stay! I've driven through Wilderswil many times, just haven't explored it much.
Great contents Ryan! Thank you for sharing and advice. "just keep uploading video. Don't worry what people are thinking..."
I went to switzerland many times mainly to Berner Oberland, Lake Geneva, and Zermatt. I don't know that there are much more places to explore. This video shows lots of new places to visit
there are many more that he didn’t mentioned. My favorite would be Montreux, the city of Jazz…
I would recommend visit the city of baden one of the moste beautiful city in the whole world I was stuned by it mayestetiy Greetings from Cyprus
yes man, I know baden as well and its my favourite city
I’d love to visit it next time!
Ryan, Thanks for sharing...
Lake Laguna is my favorite spot. We stayed in a small village, Ponte Tresa. It's located on the Swiss/Italian border.
Wow I’ve never been to that part of Switzerland but I really want to visit Ponte Tresa this summer. Sounds amazing!
@@RyanShirley Hijacking this to say that the Ticino region of Switzerland is beautiful and very unique. Mixing Switzerland's landscape with Mediterranean is great.
Wow...What a wonderful scenic!
Thanks so much Krishna!
Amazing footage!! Thank you!

Thanks so much Detrick! I’m so happy my video can help. Where do you want to visit most in Switzerland?
@@RyanShirley Thanks again for sharing your amazing videos, experiences & now communication with me. There are so many locations I want to experience, but Gimmelwald is in first place for now. I am still researching, but I know it will not only be 1 location. What is your number 1 in 🇨🇭? Have you visited beautiful China? If not I highly recommend it. Wishing you joy, health & continuous blessings.
I moved to Switzerland a year ago and was exploring a lot on my days off. its just my favorite country in the northern hemisphere. I have a big map with all the things I still have to explore and thanks to your video I can add a few more.
Going to stay a week in Grindelwald starting on October 9th. As a first time off of the North American Continent, I can't wait! We plan to go to Zermatt, Berm, Lucern and one other place we haven't decided on quite yet. Our plans are subject to change as well.
I’m Swiss and I live near Geneva! Great video, you took wonderful shots of my country which really made me want to explore it extensively someday… I’ve already been to a few of the places you mentioned and particularly loved Lauterbrunnen (heaven on earth!). I’ve also been to Gstaad many times, which is a gorgeous little village in the Berner Oberland! You should definitely visit it when you come back!
Holy crap this is the sickest video I’ve ever watched well done.
Thanks so much friend! You gotta visit Switzerland soon ☺️
Wow so glad I clicked on this video. What a beautiful country.
Definitely heaven on earth!
It truly is! Only other place that comes close is Norway in my opinion 🇳🇴
Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful video! Switzerland has so much to offer.
Of course! Do you have a favorite place in Switzerland?
@@RyanShirley Actually, I do have quite a few, like for instance The Blausee ("blue lake"), a rather small but absolutely lovely mountain lake between Frutigen and Kandersteg, to name only one. It can be crowded in tourist high season, though. You have a very good eye for the most impressive views and you are using the drone camera very effectively. The world needs more such contribution these days. Seasons greetings!
Zermatt is truly unforgettable, one of the best places I've visited.
I agree, one of the most magical places on earth 🏔️
SILVAPLANA is another stunning and most beautiful place.
I need to visit it next time!
I will be visiting Zurich this Easter and I can’t wait for that to happen! I am from China and this is also going to be the first time for me to set foot in Europe, thanks for sharing your guide!

The country is also known for its neutrality; it has not been involved in a war since 1815.
It truly is heaven!
Amazing and beautiful! Thank you!

One more awesome video from Ryan.
Thanks so much Kaushik! Have you been to Switzerland?
@Ryan Shirley Hello Ryan, pleased to get a reply from you.
Yes, I've been to switzerland several times. I used to live on the border of Switzerland, have been to swiss on foot, by bicycle, by bus and train and with car. Have gone swimming with no passport or money in hand, only my bicycle and home keys.
Watching your videos is a very enriching experience, gives me a lot of information and inspiration to go and explore more. I live in Germany at only 80 km from swiss border now.
