I've primarily a metalhead since the early '70's but I have a soft spot for Tull. Something about the quirky mix of instruments and style plus a total disregard for "normal" standards. Some of my favorite tracks are this one, Heavy Horses, Broadsword, Occasional Demons and Like a Tall Thin Girl
What a fantastic titillating song.
So freaking awesome!
>Sooo Mega cooler Sound 🥰🥰
Your music is so beautiful and makes a sad life happy ..so thank the band
this is phenomenal; i've always loved the inscrutable musical geometries of JT.
Stand up is a brilliant album.
GOLD SOLID GOLD..❤❤❤😊😊😊
A great example of when no to play. Everyone chimes in when it's needed but not too much
Fat man je l’écouterai pendant des siècles et des siècles …
Besseres gibt es nicht❤❤❤❤
Great, thanks. "Stand up" was the Album of my teens.
It was the first one I bought. Still have it. Great album.
That and 'Benefit' were my favourites. Followed by 'This Was' and 'Aqualung'.
One of the best period of jt s commercial period
LOVE Tull.
this line up of Tull was astounding
Never heard in concert but many tunes are still searcched out and listened from my MP3 collection.
I have seen this line up many times, they are up there with my favourite line up from the mid to late 70s
@@rstultz3 heard them in Italy, memorable concert in June 2001
Virtuosic chamber music; compelling, and enormous FUN! Musicianship of the highest order.
Miss these guys. Innovative ideas for outstanding music.
great song❤
beautiful:)
What a nice surprise.
I know, right?
Grandes profesionales, Ian un genio rodeado de músicos excepcionales. Gracias por darnos tanto.
Fantastic!
Quel bonheur de dénicher de belles pépites comme celle-ci en cheminant au hasard de youtube...
I feel the same way whenever I do my music videos searches. I find many but video or sound quality is so bad, I do not add to my collection.
Always a moment for this band...🙏🏼✨
It's good to see Martin playing with Ian. What a great musician. He has some really good solo albums.
"Stand Up " and "Benefit" are the two best albums... in my opinion.
Very Nice !
Martin barre on flute until the accordion et all join in then he picks up his guitar only to swap back later
The use of flute was always what attracted me. Ancient.
Thank you for the humongous insight 😂

Bravissimo!!!
Tull , Tull Good or better you are the bestest
Great 🎉🎉❤
I learned to play the flute from listening to Jethro Tull.
I'm getting mine out of case after many moons!
Excelente espetacular 🎵🇧🇷🎶
Suddenly i need a mandolin
Flute use is magical for me.
Marty loved the sound of the stolen mandolin. . .
Go on Mr. Anderson

Not sure how I discovered Tull but the mix of instruments and overall tone ring a familiar resonance for him. And use of flute. ELP "Lucky Man"...
so elves really do exist. and play percussive instruments. good to know.
андерсен. великий man
🙂🤪
What is this from? Album? DVD?
I'm Confused.... If Ian is singing and playing Mandolin, Who's playing the Flute ?
Martin Barre, the guitarrist
@@IvanHalfon Thank You !. I've noticed on a couple other songs as well, how could Ian be playing guitar and the flute at the same time.
Martin Barre is as accomplished at the flute as Ian is
Flute is what sets them apart. Ancient.
@@rstultz3 Yes I started playing the flute after seeing J.Tull in the 70's
What was the date this recording was made?
1999
Not exactly Tull but at least Ian Anderson!
IMO this was the last really good era of Tull. They still seemd to enjoy what they were doing
Yes the line up i saw most often, excellent every time!
L -> R: Ian Anderson, Doane Perry, Martin Barre, Jonathan Noyce, Andy Giddings.
