A powerful live version of Dharma For One. Featuring a great drum solo of the wonderful Clive Bunker. ¡Enjoy! #CliveBunker #drumsolo #isleofwightfestival
My uncle Jason would be flipping out to see this. He was a drummer from the 70's and Bunker was one of his favorites. And he always saw him as the drummer for Jethro.
Saw them in Hull in 1969. I had just read 'Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit' playing ' This Was' and 'Stand up'. Brilliant so fresh and different then and now.
Would have been a nice touch at Woodstock and maybe even more exposure, but alas, wasn’t meant to be. Great lineup, unfortunately not long before the personal issues came to the fore. Glenn off to Wild Turkey and Clive getting married after thrashing on Aqualung. Great memories of a raw rocking bygone era.
@@SwingingCreeper I think what he meant by that is that Barriemore brought the technical aspect up like a keyboard player but left all this crudeness and vicerality of Clive Bunker behind, exactly what Ian Anderson wanted, someone to obey his genius leaving him as the only creative force in Jethro Tull alongside Martin L. Barre and Glenn Cornick who would left shortly after alongside Bunker
@@bebedordecoca Understood. Except Glenn was also pushed out, because he enjoyed the rocker lifestyle too much, partying, drugs, and all that. Ian didn't tolerate that.
He was the greatest rock drummer IMO. I got Living in the Past as a Christmas gift back in 71. I have never heard anyone so fast on a snare drum as Clive on Dharma for One. I am now almost 70.
@sevenstarsofthedipper1047 He's # 1 in my book also . Ian Anderson really didn't deserve Clive & Glenn . Throw in Martin too ! They were all great 👍! After Aqualung I didn't like the direction Ian took them .
Clive Bunker the human machine gun. This bloke is something else.
Clive Bunker... one of the greatest.... the man is a human Octopus.... put drum sticks between his toes & he'd still be able to play....
Absolutely this band is full of so much energy.
I still love the Jethro. But drum solos are certainly a thing of the 20th century 🤗
The performance of the group is SUPER.

Phenomenal days.. loved this Band!!!✌️✌️✌️✌️😢
Clive Bunker is a machine! And of course Ian Anderson, wild man genius!

Of course it is, it's bloody Clive Bunker afterall.
I haven't seen any better . He's in his 70's now and still kicks ass.

Classic rock chocolate ice cream and girls you can't loose I have learned a few things in my life 😂😂😂
That's spooky.
imagine him on neal perts kit
I heard Clive left the band shortly after this time to get married and was replaced by Barrimore Barlow.
More pushed out
@@rockymountboyBarriemore Barlow was not a drummer he was a keyboard player.
@@aliengrey6052no Barlow was the drummer from 1972-1979. John Evan was the keyboard player.

Enjoy because they don't make those bands anymore.

Thank you! Clive Bunker on drums.

Clive Bunker and Keith Moon > the most natural untrained drum wizards ever.
Ginger Baker ain't got shit on Clive
No drummer has as far as I'm concerned. Hearing Bonzo this, Bonzo that really gets old .
Fantásticos días de loquera y fumar y fumar el cigarro bacilador jajajaja.
Clive Bunker hates looking at drums lol
He doesn't have to . He's that professional.
Das war noch Hand gemacht und ohne Schnörckel
No wonder the rest of the band all fucked off.
