Good job. I use to run 400 crab traps years ago. 200 traps a day while the other 200 soaked, back and forth. Caught some crabs that i should of had mounted but would give those to my dad to eat.

That's the only way we did it as kids in Va. and N.C. growing up in the seventies an early 80. Best day, summer of 73, hand lined over 150 crabs from the eastern branch of the Elizabeth River in VA. Beach.
Did not have money for the circle nets.

Well that dock gets very busy sometimes when people know there’s crabs there and it gets almost impossible to fish. If you ever make a RUclips channel and tell everyone your spots you’ll learn real quick it’s not sustainable and it’s also not fair to the locals to bring a bunch of out of towners to fish on top of them. I only fish here a couple of times a year so it doesn’t matter to me but some of these locals feed their families here all season long. What kind of guy would I be to tell the world to come fish on top of them? Go watch “Outside the Levees” if you’re looking for spots, I don’t roll that way.
