Junkrat is actually a genius, all of his weapons are built from scrap, and he has in in depth understanding of chemistry necessary to create explosive compounds, I'm also convinced he's concussed beyond sanity.

I would love for a Zenyatta + Junkrat interaction where Zen tells him a reflective, inspirational proverb only for Junkrat to reply with a made-up proverb that is so nonsensical all Zen can say is "Wat".
It might be funnier if what Junkrat says is actually pretty profound when you get past a weird metaphore.

Something tells me only junk will, and roadhog will likely rejoin junkertown.
@@teamtrpt8216 what if Junk joins Overwatch and Roadhog gets asked to join Talen… then months or years later Junkrat and Roadhog end up having to face each other after not seeing each other for so long, and having to deal with the shock of their friend being on the other side.

So, anyone else wondering why so many people dislike him? he is funny(lore wise), and Winston gets along with him somewhat it seems and he even plays around with some of Tracers lines, I feel like Junkrat is someone who just struggles with social interactions and characters like ana, sojourn, zarya and even Mei(a bit). Give the guy hate, when the world in my opinion gave him a cruel hand. That aside he is a funny guy that seems to actually want to know to do what is right, but seems like no one wants to help him, unless I am prove wrong when PVE comes out. anyway, what 's everyone's fav Junkrat line? I can't decide myself, I like them all.
Don't forget that Junk is a psychopath and a criminal who murdered and robbed from people all around the world. I think that is reason enough for Overwatch to not like him

The world definitely gave him the bad cards in life. He was apparently only five when the incident that wrecked the outback came along, meaning he didn’t get much of a chance to begin with. Seeing some more of the cast actually try to chill with him would be nice.

Honestly, maybe it's just me, but I feel that most of the Overwatch team has a somewhat positive view of him, even if they don't express it. Maybe it's just me though.

Everyone is so mean to my little boy. I’m hoping some character is super nice to him in a future interaction, man just deserves it.
I kind of think Junkrat and Roadhog we get cought and as a plead deal be forced to join OW. Or before OW is officially sanctioned back Rat and Hog will be given a choice to help OW or be left to their crimes. And I think that could be fully and interesting.
One of the neat things about the original game was the random chatter among the different heroes. There was only a handful of lines though, with some characters having less than others (especially Junkrat). It's good to see they've greatly expanded on this in Overwatch 2!
Honestly the way Reaper looked at him when telling to "Shut up" was actually funny.

I still laugh at how Reaper's shotguns canonically just replenish themselves.
He and Mercy have a REALLY good one where she tells him to bandage his mouth.
His little “BOING” and “HEEEHEEEHEHEHE” is so adorable, but when he says “I wish I had someone to put me on the right track..” IT MADE MY HEART DROP
You know, I think the voicelines with soldier imply that in the campaign, Junkrat and Roadhog team up with Overwatch at some point.

Everyone's wondering why they are kinda mean to him,
i think it may be either because he's kinda of a wildcard and it was already a stretch having him join overwatch, and now they have to deal with his joking at work
(notice how mostly the "serious ones" brush him off, soldier, reaper, ana and soujorn)
or because they just don't like him for being "omnic-racist" or whatevs
junkrat's opinions on omnics seem to be changing though; he has voicelines from either this beta or the last one where he goofs around with bastion and seems neutral/curious/intimidated by zen, but not aggressive
It seems that his opinion has changed in the 5 year time gap. Also torbjorn hates omnics too and they're fine with him. I tbh just think it's a case of low tolerance for socially awkwardness
I feel like ana is playful with him and roadhog. She isn't friends with them but when they're messing around she plays into it. Like when roadhog tells her to stay out of trouble and she says "as long as you promise to get into plenty" it seems like she is trying to be supportive of their positive actions because she sees the good in them, which is probably why Junk/Hog see her as an adoptive mother figure.

Junkrat sounds like such a fun character.
His singing is actually quite nice, but not the kind of singing Lucio probably has in his music.
And here I'm still worried about Junk and Hog actually being included in the story mode because they said during that first dev reveal stuff that not all characters fit into the story they're telling in the story mode.
I don't think we're gonna see all four Junker characters in the story.
