It's funny that Widow can't accept that Ana saw Widow first, realized who she was, had the time to have second thoughts, and decide not to shoot before window took her shot. What is interesting to me is that WIdowmaker says she was trained by "the best" to Ashe. McCree tells Phara that he was taught to shoot by "the best, that'd be your mother" Widowmaker doesn't even contest to being the best sniper in talon.
@@avatarofdeath ashe was not trained by the best of anything though. widow is 100% the best sniper for talon and there isn't any reasoning to say otherwise. widow is just barely worse than ana, since they saw each other at the same time. ana shot first, but couldn't deal a damaging shot (only breaking widow's helmet), while widow was able to shoot ana in the eye while ana hesitated. ana is overwatch not talon, so therefore widow is the best sniper in talon without any comparison.
@@mentarium9741 Widow says she was trained by the best, so she can't be the best. No one ever said anything about ashe being the best. Ana missed on purpose cause she couldn't kill Amilee My whole point is Cassidy claims Ana is "the best", Widow claims she was trained by "the best". That means there is a sniper in Talon that Widow believes is better than herself and Ana. Super Simple Stuff
For Widowmaker v. Torbjorn, I wish they went with this: Torbjorn: I bet my turret's a better shot than you. Widowmaker: And what are you willing to bet? Torbjorn: The Lindholm reputation! Widowmaker: How about the Lindholm bloodline?
Between the line with Moira here, and the line with Soldier about her husband liking roses, i feel like theyre looking to redeem her when the story stuff comes out
The Moira/Widow interaction imply that Widow has gone through more than a few bouts of "conditioning" and now has a Pavlovian response to her even mentioning emotion which is....disturbing to consider.
This is just my own little theory, but maybe Widow might have found another lover and is having a baby or something. She told reaper she’s was taking a leave, she’s become way more emotive than she was in ow1, and that line from tracer about trusting her with a baby just felt like it was foreshadowing something
…You do know pregnancy has very obvious signs? Weird cravings, missing periods, massive growing stomach? I don’t think Talon would let Widow just go missing for nine months either. And, Widow’s body temperature and heart rate are way lower than normal, plus Moira’s genetic meddling, I doubt her body could even support a baby.
I liked the "American's" line when talking to Ashe. LoL. The first few world shooting competitions were won by random Americans with no formal training whatsoever. They just showed up with their squirrel guns and dominated.
i wonder what the lore is though cause according to the cinematics she's still Talon but according to the comics, she shows regret from killing her husband. I wonder if she has broken from her brainwashing or that she just has small lucid moments that let her act like her old self though personally i think she is slowly breaking out. but she's too much like her new self she has no choice but to stay with Talon
she visited his grave with flowers? my hearttt😭😭 yeah, the brainwashing is cracking but she chooses to stay with talon and still act emotionless just so moira wouldn’t notice and do further experiments to brainwash her more.
0:28 you know Reinhardt is waiting for that one moment widow is caught off guard, one second where she isn't lookin and that hammers going in her head.
Where are y’all getting her being scared around Moira? Widow has literally always sounded like that. The weird thing tho is she answered quickly which is unlike her character but that doesn’t equate to being afraid or feeling fear. It’s more of being deceptive
Hold up, Ana actually gagged her lmao. Widow knows that Ana actually eclipses her in raw sniper skill and would've won that duel they had if she didn't show compassion, that's why she antagonizes her every chance she gets.

Now we see that she might be coming back to herself but she as nowhere to go, every OW agents hate her and Talon will never let her free since she’s one of their best Snipers. She’s stuck in a horrible place, wouldn’t surprise me if in a future mission she’ll try to end it.
Just let me play her, they'll want to switch to another hero right away.
Love her voice, so smooth and with such a raspy depth, despite all the ups and downs this franchise has, the character work, both as visual design and unique characteristics for such a massive cast remains unreachable.
"I bet my turret's a better shot than you" objectively true.
It's funny that Widow can't accept that Ana saw Widow first, realized who she was, had the time to have second thoughts, and decide not to shoot before window took her shot.
What is interesting to me is that WIdowmaker says she was trained by "the best" to Ashe. McCree tells Phara that he was taught to shoot by "the best, that'd be your mother"
Widowmaker doesn't even contest to being the best sniper in talon.
Probably bc it was also a part of Talons reconditioning, I guess they taught her to think that she's the best and trained by the best.
What does Cassidy's training with Ana have to do with Ashe's training? Cassidy deserted the Deadlock Gang and THEN joined Overwatch
@@RegeneratinDegenerat you need to learn reading comprehension. It's about the phrase "the best" and whom it refers to.
Ana missed on purpose cause she couldn't kill Amilee
My whole point is Cassidy claims Ana is "the best", Widow claims she was trained by "the best". That means there is a sniper in Talon that Widow believes is better than herself and Ana.
Super Simple Stuff
I get the feeling Reaper and Widow have bonded through the years, the ruthless exchange of sas is on besties level
0:18 I love this line. It just points out how ridiculous some outfits are in war. Like high heels and jumpsuits lol
0:54 has the same energy as that one meme "could i get a ticket" "for what movie?" *pans to a guy in full spiderman cosplay*
I like how she has a vaguely friendly tone with Reyes
I still wish I knew how these characters would ever have these conversations without immediately murdering eachother.
Agreed, expect for ones that are on their side
For Widowmaker v. Torbjorn, I wish they went with this:
Torbjorn: I bet my turret's a better shot than you.
Widowmaker: And what are you willing to bet?
Torbjorn: The Lindholm reputation!
Widowmaker: How about the Lindholm bloodline?
its funny coz torb is kinda countering widow
@@goblinslayer310 nah, Widow only has 1 counter, the MONKE
Between the line with Moira here, and the line with Soldier about her husband liking roses, i feel like theyre looking to redeem her when the story stuff comes out
That "ugh Americans" thats by far my fav part 😂
She has a soft spot for Bastion perhaps?
I think she envy’s him because she thinks he has no emotion at all. But we know that’s far from the truth.
@@rooroorogers8538 Yeah that makes more sense now
"Do not speak to me unless you wish to lose your other eye"
"I'd still be the better shot"
got DAMN she went off
The Moira/Widow interaction imply that Widow has gone through more than a few bouts of "conditioning" and now has a Pavlovian response to her even mentioning emotion which is....disturbing to consider.
This is just my own little theory, but maybe Widow might have found another lover and is having a baby or something. She told reaper she’s was taking a leave, she’s become way more emotive than she was in ow1, and that line from tracer about trusting her with a baby just felt like it was foreshadowing something
Nahhh, sorry but aint no way thats true
…You do know pregnancy has very obvious signs? Weird cravings, missing periods, massive growing stomach? I don’t think Talon would let Widow just go missing for nine months either. And, Widow’s body temperature and heart rate are way lower than normal, plus Moira’s genetic meddling, I doubt her body could even support a baby.
I liked the "American's" line when talking to Ashe. LoL. The first few world shooting competitions were won by random Americans with no formal training whatsoever. They just showed up with their squirrel guns and dominated.
Lucio should have a comeback there lol 0:50
Of all the characters in the game, I think Moira would be the only one who's truly really evil, She enjoys what she does and doesn't have any humanity
moira constantly psychoanalyzing her is actually incredible consistency to her origin story tho
i wonder what the lore is though
cause according to the cinematics she's still Talon
but according to the comics, she shows regret from killing her husband. I wonder if she has broken from her brainwashing or that she just has small lucid moments that let her act like her old self
though personally i think she is slowly breaking out. but she's too much like her new self she has no choice but to stay with Talon
RIGHT, and the fact that she visited Gerard in his tomb with flowers really means something.
she visited his grave with flowers? my hearttt😭😭 yeah, the brainwashing is cracking but she chooses to stay with talon and still act emotionless just so moira wouldn’t notice and do further experiments to brainwash her more.
Genevieve O'Reilly saying " Lacroix " is something I didn't know I wanted till today
2:33 Torb just described Bronze in a nutshell
"How about I call a mortician." Well, damn.
ANA JUST COOKED HER UP AHH!
I wanna see a compilation of all of Lúcio's favorite animal voicelines
1:03 Daaamn Ana completely destroyed Widow
I was today years old when I realized Reaper is a father AND a husband
Moira's VA is on another level, gives me chills.
The way she hunts for eyes, you'd think she needs eight of them... oh, wait.
I think it’s funny that widow and reaper talk casually about there lives
1:24 that was a good one
I want more interactions between widow and Moira they are the best
"That was not an invitation to talk to me" had me laughing so hard
1:33 perfection
Widowmaker has a strange obsession with taking peoples eyes
The one with Ashe really got me dead loool props to whoever wrote that joke he/she deserves a bloody raise
My favorite line from the first game: "What's an Aimbot?"
Damn, she's got more bite in this one. I'm excited to see all the characters develop. I may not enjoy the game a lot, but I love the lore
Reaper was married I didnt know that.
She's really good at shooting eyes without killing people apparently
Lol
“Who would trust you with a baby?!”
Buuurn
That Ashe and Widow interaction was spicy
Some of these lines are in the first game but I’m glad I thought they were gonna throw away all the old interactions when ow2 drops
Lucio is soo cute omgg xdd
He really asks everyone what their favorite animal is?? Awww
Is it odd that Reaper seems the most open to talk, if even a little bit?
0:28 you know Reinhardt is waiting for that one moment widow is caught off guard, one second where she isn't lookin and that hammers going in her head.
Where are y’all getting her being scared around Moira? Widow has literally always sounded like that. The weird thing tho is she answered quickly which is unlike her character but that doesn’t equate to being afraid or feeling fear. It’s more of being deceptive
Yo mama
Hearing Rein not loud and jolly is.. kinda scary
She's always been my favourite character. A literal stone cold savage.
''I was trained by the best'
''and I was trained by the west'
the coolest voice line I've heard so far.
Ana always knows just what to say. An effortless roast 😂😭
Its been 6 years and only now i get widowmaker’s code name
Hold up, Ana actually gagged her lmao. Widow knows that Ana actually eclipses her in raw sniper skill and would've won that duel they had if she didn't show compassion, that's why she antagonizes her every chance she gets.
The conversation with Widow and Rein at 0:24 is in OW1 too
these voicelines are brilliant
the way anna said "going SOFT" killed me
"It’s not noise, it’s Music!"
"Well, you’re making too much Music!-👿"
Love that 😂💜
"That was not an invitation to talk to me." I'm dead.
moira slayed
widow to about everyone: you are worth nothing you are a zero
widow to lucio: ok you can play games on my phone
Reaper has a wife ;_; Damit
and a kid
