This was amazing to watch. And to share a little extra too, financial accounting, management accounting and these branches of accounting that have their own courses most of the time also accept people with Maths Lit. Usually requiring at least a 50% pass, some even excl. Accounting. Internal auditing is such a wonderful field, and even in there you will cruise nicely (lol) . I encourage anyone who wants careers in finance, don't let the type of math you have and even the mark stop you. Possibilities are endless.

I picked diploma in internal auditing by mistake and today I'm really glad it was a mistake that gave me really good perspective and I'm going to do my last year next year in internal auditing I hope I make it

Nice interview, but you can still be an Internal Auditor with a CA(SA) qualification. The salary difference will make you realise CA designation matters😅

You are spot on, you can be an IA with the CA(SA), not choosing the CA route was my own personal preference

I got between 50% to 60% if I remember correctly
I got 72% for accounting and 41% for pure maths ,however i got discouraged to do BCOM accounting 😩
Why did you get discouraged cause you could have done the extended program? As well which would still work

You can come to UJ, depends how much you got you might have to start with the certificate programme

Yes it is as a degree or diploma but at uJ its an accounting degree but when u specialize in honours you can’t use nsfas so u would need a bursary
