Yes please. I often go hiking around the UK such as Scotland and Wales. I use the car as a camper and am still adding gear as time goes on. One thing I don't have as yet is a power bank.

Yes please! We have a zafira and are starting to look into car camping. We're currently going through ivf and haven't been able to afford a holiday for years because of that and also can't book anything because we don't know when we need to be home for treatment so car camping would be ideal for us but haven't felt brave enough to do it yet!

After watching you, I’m going to give car camping a go in my 2010 Corsa. Fortunately I’m only 5ft6, so I should fit fine 😂 This would come in handy for when I get a little bed & stuff made

@@zafiracamper it’s just a nightmare thinking of the basics I’ll need (bed frame, window covers, wind deflectors, blackout curtain etc..) then finding the spare cash to buy them.
Luckily I’ve got a good selection of camping gear, so I can use a lot of that to save some pennies on those

@@zafiracamper I’ll have a look at those. Cheers. I’ve just binge watched your gear reviews. That saucepan thing looks good. But I don’t think I’d be waiting 1/2 an hour for the kettle to boil 😂
And don’t use that fan heater thing for too long either mind. I had one a couple of years ago when my blower motor packed in. By the time it’d de-iced the windscreen, I could smell a chemical type smell. It turns out it was melting the sheathing around the wiring. Somehow the fuse didn’t pop like it was meant to. It was burning hot when I unplugged it. Fortunately it didn’t set on fire though, so I class myself as lucky.
@ourvan.ourway I loved my 12v kettle - altho that vid was the first time I’d ever tested it - I soon worked out…. Use thermos water and only boil what you need - result was much faster.
I kept meaning to do a seperate vid for that cooker, it’s like my best purchase ever 😍
Funny thing with that fan was that I bought it…. And then the cold weather stopped, like instantly 😂

Love it :) a very comprehensive review. Using my 300W version it was great having the quiet pure sine wave inverter as opposed to the noisy modified wave one I use for my leisure battery, it enabled me to use a 40W leccy blanket and have a good kip in -2 so having power enables year round CC trips. I don't have a solar panel yet but I can see me getting one soon and I think it will come in very handy on multi night camps. I have made a few adapters now so I can charge up my Allpowers from any other battery, be it from an ebike or my leisure battery. You will have to find a low wattage AC unit to cool the car now as it seems we might be getting more silly summer temperatures or an ice making machine for some seaside cocktails. 😁

Yeah I need to find a Jackery to ALLPOWERS adapter, as then can use the 12v car plug to charge both power banks on multidays ❤️

A male 12v connector from the Jackery to the solar anderson connectors on the Allpowers should do it. I have the stuff here I will see what I can do and get back to you :)

Great Review Matt! Very happy to learn that simple method to figure out watt hours etc. always confused me has the electrics! It certainly looks like a good bit of kit!
P.S. I'm pretty sure a foot massager is essential to a good car camp 🤣

1400 watts for a surge that would probably be the perfect set up for my wife’s little car camper although that’s not in the budget as we’ve been spending our extra on traveling maybe someday we could get something like that for her car camper

10:27 you can do it, but it reduces the lifespan of the battery, which they actually I think they last quite a long time from my understandings, but yeah, something to keep in mind

oooo! very informative! be kinda ideal to have when doing car caamps! charge things up and use for food etc :) no gas in the car would be great too! wonder how long it would last using a cheap low powered heater in the car hmmm... dont supose you could test it? 👍
Cheers dude - alas I don’t have any heaters at home BUT you can work it out based on wattage 😀 I think you’d need a monster power bank to use a heater and for all the other bits and bobs. This one’s perfect for cooking and charging and yeah I’m the same as you, I can’t use gas in car no more, too many migraines - so this is an actual

Cheers HB, was defo fun to edit ❤️ The price keeps on changing I’ve noticed. The set up I have here at the mo is £379 and just the unit itself is £279. But week or so back they were both I think £100 less.
Their prices seem to go up and down every moth it seems. My s300 was had at £79 back in November but have gone up to £179 now so it might be good to hang around to see if the prices go down.
