I have a Nexon Ev and I was never told anything about 40%!
I bought it in Jan 2023 and did not drive for 50days as I was out of India.
Now I have driven 9300km and I have done all kinds of trips including Bangaluru mysuru , Bangalore Salem and Bangalore Sakleshpura.
    No problem at all.
A week ago there was no power on Salem highway and I drove 66km to nearest charger on 20% batter with 4 adults in the car,
If there was no regen this would have been impossible!!

I have vehicle since 6 years. 15 mileage, 30000 km. Average petrol price consider is around 90rs since then. I have put hardly 2 lakh in fuel only. So approx i would spend about 7 lakh to travel 1 lakh km. A car of around 10 lakh is for that purpose is more than good enough, hence no meaning of spending more than 11-13 lakh for EV.

    I have nexon ev max
    👉🏻 300kms range
👉🏻 10% se less battery hone pe he the speed reduced not 15%.
    👉🏻 Maximum speed is 145km/hr
👉🏻 Charging network is fabulous, have travelled 3000km in 1 month on highway. No worries
👉🏻 Sports mode doesn’t work below 25% charge
    👉🏻 AC issue is true
👉🏻 Ventilation is good not great
👉🏻 Use plug share app and some common sense for charging support
👉🏻 3Pin socket works fine no relation to earthing.
    👉🏻 100 - 120 speed has no issues
👉🏻 Low beam light is useless - 1star is perfect
👉🏻 He doesn’t know how to fix the time
    👉🏻 Use precooling in app
👉🏻 Cup holder is a true pain
👉🏻 USB port is a pain
👉🏻 There is a settings option in the display for brightness

That sounds like a regen error. I have a Nexon EV MAX, thsi is wrong. Please go to some other tata service center. I think they sold you something which is bad and they didn't want to change it. Please have it checked.

Because you’re trained with it, this car has a long learning curve

I and suchir have bought the car around the same time ie. Jan 2023 and even the down time is similar, so I don't know what is learning curve you are taking about.
My car's power consumption is 126watt/km. Do you know the average power consumption of suchir's car ?
I guess it will be around 180-200 watt/km. Do let me know

The WhatsApp and telegram group make you learn a lot to get the best range and the groups helps us with driving tips, I bought it in June , took me around one -two months to understand how to drive single pedal and be light foot extract maximum range, one who’s coming straight from ICE and not been a part of the all India WhatsApp and telegram group , half of us would be driving it like an ice vehicle. You learn a lot to drive thid vehicle, one needs to warm up to fact that it’s not an ICE but an Ev and it’s behaviours are different from regular vehicles. Those are the things I am talking about.
