@@shasha023 there are other radeon cards of that same period that aged waaay better than the 780 ti even if initially the 780 to had better perfomance in them
Still have a 690 GTX in an old PC I built. Still works even today. All depends on what you do with it. Then again I ain't trying to run the latest games on it either
I think many modern games would work on the GTX 780 Ti, as many games still support the Kepler architecture. Not sure how it would perform in modern games, but I don't think it would be too bad.
You can but there is no driver support so support for new games is limited. Maybe pair this with a 3rd or 4th gen i7, you would probably get a decent experience from that
Exactly ! I used to have the Titan Black with an OC i5 4690k it was a rock solid combo that was insanely powerful back in time, and for have used a GTX690 for playing BFV i think those can still run some recent games with a decent experience !
I put a GTX 780 ti in my first gaming PC with a Ryzen 5 1600. It ran everything that I threw at it back in 2017 so it is probably safe to say that the GTX 780ti is still good for most Xbox one and earlier era games and it can probably some modern titles too. (if you can find one that is actually optimised, they don’t like to do that anymore.)
Going through spare parts and I found this. I totally forgot about this. Imma run an experiment with extra parts I have. Let’s see how well the card will do on a asrock z77 pro MoBo and an i7 3770k. Wish me luck.
I am still using it. Unfortunately, you are limited to games up to 2019 and some to 2020 due to lack of DX12 support. Also, Kepler driver support has stopped since 2021 so don't buy it now unless if you are a collector or you had it since 2013 like me. Also, is power hungry for the performance it gives( the GTX 1650 super is only 75w and gives more performance vs 250-280w) I am gonna upgrade to RTX 4090 or wait for RTX 5090. I don't know I don't game a lot lately only casual gaming. Thats my opinion thanks if you read my comment. Have a nice da!
The lack of DX12 support, end of driver support, and just overall poor aging of Kepler, I would avoid most of these cards. Great for older games, but a GTX 970 can be had for around $70 on the used US market and will perform much faster with more support and using less power. That's not to say these and the plain 780s weren't legendary back then. I ran dual 780s for a year or so and man was the power awesome. Great looking reference design as well.
I was using the gtx 660 not to long ago and let me say while I couldn’t play any triple a games at 60 fps you can 100% still play tons of free games out there like fortnite pubg sometimes apex and many morw
280x is a rebadged 7970x which actually is going to be faster than a 780ti for modern gaming. 780ti might have been faster at the time, but the 290x soundly beats it nowdays.
GTX 690 and HD 7990 both are SLI Cards in 1 mosphet. Think like (An 285x2 uses 2x R9 290) so your comment doesnt makes sense. But right R9 290x destroys 780ti in New games that uses VULKAN and DirectX 12 API.
I actually still run a EVGA GTX 770 SC 4GB on my other PC and it sure can play modern titles
@CleanBattle surprisingly around and even above 60 fps, though it is paired with a Ryzen 5 5600G

I used to game on a 560 TI equivalent. It served me well. Certainly, compared to that a much newer and much faster card can certainly game today.
I think many modern games would work on the GTX 780 Ti, as many games still support the Kepler architecture.
Not sure how it would perform in modern games, but I don't think it would be too bad.
It really does work a lot I had a 770 and I still have it in the box now and it was clear pleasure to use it !
Same for me. My GTX 760 phantom served me well.
Buy 2 of em and sure
It would be cool to see this old card perform

My 780 Ti just died yesterday, performed great playing modern titles
Hey, that makes me sound old. I remember 2013 and it was a strange year. Can't believe it's been 10 years 🤧
Fsr doesn't work on kepler. That's what makes them very limited these days.

Considering I stuck with a 750ti tile the launch of the 3050 and made my way to a 3060 saving up for a decent 4070 I think I could
It sure could be usable, but unfortunately they stopped releasing drivers for it.

R9 290X is now performing better than this
Does it work?
Yeah, you can probably still game on that. I use a GTX 1080 w/ 8gb and that 1080 was made 2016

My R9 280 had 3GB too. That was a lot when most had 2GB cards like the GTX 760 and 770.

in warframe high full hd in open sandbox?
Still rocking a gtx 780tii and it can still get 30fps in most AAA games
I still run intel integrated HD graphics 2000 and run battlefield 1 4k max graphics perfectly fine

Cool video, however the actual king during 2013 was GTX titan ( the original titan )
My 680 still does fine enough
Rx550 low profile is impressive for what it is
Yes i play all games on gigabyte windforce gtx 780 oc edition
it's got enough cuda cores, just doesnt have enough vram or support
It definitely can I played a lot of newer games with a 760 ti
I still run games with a 2gb asus gtx 770
Skyrim ran on a gt8600m in 2011, skyrim will run on this in 2023.
