Tolles Intro von der Gitarre (das alleine ist schon 'ne Dauerschleife wert), toller Song, schönes sparsames Arrangement, feiner Mix, toller Sound, wundervolles Video mit sehr sympathischen Protagonisten und lustigen Einfällen!
Ich bin beeindruckt und berührt.

This band is a cultural treasure in itself! The songs are melodious and pleasant to listen to, and, by singing in this sweet Saxon dialect, they are helping to keep alive a precious descendant of Old Saxon!!
Pure low german what german chauvanistic and imperial politic do with this language
@@tearet741 Indeed, you should have seen a serious argument I had with one such imperalist, who, in his hegemonic Pan-German discourse which smelled a lot like Neo Nazism, try with all the sophisms he could to put even Frisian, the closest sister to English in the mainland, as a dialect of German, arguing for that dangerous fallacy, that all West Germanic languages could be be seen that way due to the fact that ancient thistorians called all those tribes in the region by the general name of Teutons! What was even more irritating was that, very much like WW2 Nazis, he would be adamant in repeating his lies, going against even the general consensus among language scholars, i.e. linguists and philologists, to the point of denying even the legitimacy of classifications like Ingevonian for a group of these languages, like Frisian. And he even made sure it was about the language itself and not just the Platt dialect often misnamed for Frisian, called Friesisches Platt!

@@joalexsg9741 Most turkic languages (which one of them my native language)are pretty intelligible with each other.But nobody is call them as dialects of one language.It s like consider all kypchak languages (kazakh,tatar,bashkir,noghay,karachaevo-balcaric,kyrgyz) as dialect of one language.This is politic of crazy imperialist-chauvanism -- worse form of fascism.
@@tearet741 I totally agree but that highly suspicious guy, certainly a German supremacist and perhaps even a Neo Nazi in disguise, as adamant about pushing his lies with any false argument he could come up with. By the way, I once watched a video on the Bahskir alphabet and realized it had subtle differences between some utterly similar phonemes which makes it far more difficult to pronounce than, let us say, Turkish. I don´t speak any of them but by the many times I heard Turkish being spoken and sung and by my Teach Yourself volume, I find it relatively easy to pronounce but not all Turkic languages seem to have this quality! They are really completely different, despite some levels of mutual inteligibility of some of them.

Nice language, sounds somewhat English or Scandinavian.
It's an old language from Northern Germany called "Niederdeutsch" or "Plattdeutsch". It's close to English and Dutch.

Hi Tuedelband, you´re great guys! Thanks for your precious activism and art! Although I don´t speak your beautiful language, I just would like to say it´s better to call it Low Saxon, as calling it Low German (Niederdeutsch) is actually one way of accepting the acculturation High German has imposed on it, trying to strip all Platt varieties of their identities and letting people think Platt languages are a variety of High German. The very name German, when aplied to these languages as in Platt Deutsch, is actually heavily loaded in political terms, something which has been used subliminally to make people consider these sister languages as if they were mere variations of "High German".
It´s one of the modern descendants of Old Saxon, one of the modern Low Saxon languages/dialects! All these Platt languages are much closer to English, Scots and Dutch than German(or, as scholars call it, High German) itself. I also find in them a lot of similarities with beautiful Danish.
@@joalexsg9741 While Low German is English's closest (non-extinct) relative (together with Friesian), it certainly isn't "much closer to English than High German". The opposite is true: It's much, much closer to High German than English. Somebody who doesn't speak Low German but does speak High German can understand most of what's being said, while somebody who speaks English will understand only a few words.
find ichh top... und selbst als eifelaner versteht man mehr als man erst denkt... sind halt von bap und co doch etwas geübter in mundartmusik...^^ außerdem find ich die sängerin auch ganz nett.... erinnert etwas an meine erste große liebe und die war/ist auch sängerin in einer band...^^
